Topic: Which Castlevania game are you the best at?

Not which is your favorite, which one do you own for free?

I've one-lifed Castlevania and Simon's Quest, but I feel like I'm the best at DXC/Rondo. I know those games so well that I can see stuff coming before it gets to me. Love that!those games!

I've zero-hitted all the way through symphony of the night and beaten Lament of innocence in less than four hours. I've also beaten (years ago), Castlevania (just plain old castlevania) in under 50 minutes.

Note - Zero hitted means that except for the hit you take when Death takes all your stuff, (which does use the hit animation and therefore does count as a hit), you take NO DAMAGE AT ALL PERIOD.

I've one lifed Castlevania III in all possible scenarios once. That was pretty insane.

I've 1-Life Completed:
Castlevania
Simon's Quest
Dracula's Curse (with all people including Trevor alone)
Super Castlevania IV
...and I think Bloodlines and DraculaXX once.

Metroidvanias don't count as "1-life" since there's saves & stuff, but I've completed most of them at least at one point, without dying.

There's always some cheapo death in DXC/Rondo somewhere, either 'cuz I forgot how to do something or some random enemy knocks me into a lake, though I may have one-lifed Rondo.
I almost always die at some point in the 64 titles, and I cannot even play the beginning stages of the PS2 titles without randomly save/quitting out of boredom.

I would say the Castlevania game I'm absolutely best at... is Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse.

Castlevania 4 for me. In fact, I love the environments and music so much that I play it(without dying)up until the point where I get to the castle if I feel like chilling out. I don't really have to focus on it up to that point so it's quite therapeutic.

I finished Portrait of Ruin at 1000%, including having at least one item/weapon/spell/etc. of every genre, mastering every subweapon and completing every guide. Plus making awesome records for the Boss Rush mode.

OoE and DoS were also 100% completed!

I've 1lifed CVIII & CVIV, SotN and HoD (dissonance) the first day it was released. I've done CV as well but I'm not really counting that because of the holy water spam @ Death.

I think I one-lifed DXC at some time or another, but thats not really anything to brag about. I can reach Dracula in CV1 on one life but I haven't beaten him with it (ironically, letting yourself die against Dracula can actually let you get a significantly higher score by throwing crosses at his fireballs until you run out of hearts, and then kill yourself, you can get 100,000s of points on him alone if you do it enough).

I've 1CC'd Castlevania 1, but haven't been able to in CV4 for some odd reason.

SOTN. got all items weapons familiars etc . That was on my original save file but i have lost it . I also beat the game with Maria on the Saturn port. not a big fan of Richter tbh.

On a good day I can pretty much get through all the classicvania games with little to no trouble at all. On a bad day, I'd curse and swear till I finished them. Ahhh... good times.
