I've beat them all w/out cheats well all except the turbo duo dracula x which I'll be picking up for the PSP tomorrow. :) I'm a castlevania nut, I can't put one down till I finish it, I've been known to not eat, sleep, and I've even called in sick at work before cuz I was so enthralled with the game. Everytime a new one comes out I always run to pick it up cuz I know it's gonna be good, well all except the n64 ones, but those were still sort of fun, even if the controls for the characters weren't so good and they were crazy easy.

Rondo I've gotten quite far into, but not beaten yet.

Is Rondo tough bro? I always heard it was one of the easier ones. :)

BUY IT NOW!!!!!!

If he has an xbox or a 360 with live he can also purchase it from there, I think it's crazy cheap on live too.

As for the ones I haven't beaten, but own, they are:
Dracula's Curse(PC, that's why I can't beat it)

what's dif. about drac. 3 on the PC? I've only beat the nes and famicom versions, the doppleganger really gave me some trouble till I started using the switch trick, it takes awhile to pinpoint his weaknesses, I had to go in with a game genie (cheating device) and figure out the correct strategy without constantly switching out characters. I thought drac was tough but doable. You should be at an advantage with the pc version actually, you can save the state of the game where your stuck and keep reloading from that point until you do it. :)

Have beaten with savestates but will probably never do so without them because the game is so atrociously difficult:

2. Vampire Killer

Yeah it's pretty tough, I thought it was boring personally finding all the keys was retarded, I don't have the patience to finish that one, you have to memorize where all the keys are or you'll run out of time searching which is something I don't have the patience to do. I don't even count the MSX2 atrocity as a castlevania game. I consider the nes castlevania as the true castlevania 1 out of the tons of incarnations for the first one (haunted castle, nes castlevania, MSX vampire killer, etc.).

Well, my CD is scratched, so the music is screwed up, and that game had such awesome music, I can't even bear to play through it listen to such a disgrace towards Castlevania music. lol. Aside from that, I thought it was a really hard game, so the controls are awkward with PC and I can't stop dying!!! I would be SO musch easier for me if I would just buy the NES version, that way, I could use a controller which is a lot less awkward.

I've beaten...

Castlevania
Super Castlevania IV
Castlevania 64 and/or Legacy of Darkness
Castlevania: Bloodlines
Castlevania: Dracula X
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin

Yeah, I know... Never beaten Castlevania 2 or 3... I can't say I played much of either one, though. I really ought to, someday.

awwww man that sucks your disc is scratched I always loved the music in that one too, does the game allow you to use a joystick/pc controller? I know you can pick up ones that just plug into a usb port at like target for 10 bucks. :)

I see alot of people have put down that they beat dracula x, personally I always thought the last fight was insanely hard, I never passed it without infinite hearts, as it's so cheap. The pits in the dracula battle were the worst idea ever.

I don't know, I'd have to check, but that would be cool if I got one of those! And some sort of CD scratch repair kit! lol

Yeah I would say that it's probably one of the harder games in the series to beat. And the pits do suck, but it makes it more of a challenge but I kind of like it that way

I agree, I like my games hard too, I just like straight up fights better than the enemy being able to use the environment to his advantage. :)

ahh I just figured out how to do it without infinite hearts, there's a secret passage you can go through an unlimited number of times in the final level I didn't know about where you can fight a bone snake thing and keep killing him over and over for lots of hearts and there's also a cross hidden in the candle next to him. I just beat it using item crushes on drac's final form to avoid getting thrown in the giant pit. :)

I object to CV64 being called "crazy easy." Duel Tower?

All you have to do though is go to that demon guy and buy a bunch of food and you'll never die though, letting you carry nine large meats made it too easy. And the bosses all have like no health especially dracula, and his first and second forms drop large meats too if you hit the fireballs he shoots out. I don't think I've ever seen the game over screen for that game. I don't know I guess if your new to castlevania games it might be pretty tough but compared to ones like the first one and three, I thought it was pretty much a walk in the park. :)

Just beat 3 again for the famicom, I prefer that version over the american one, it's more fun, there's no bats in the pendulum segment of the last level and dracula's third form shoots out almost like pellets instead of a big long continous laser beam. I like the music better too and how in the intro the church gets all involved and when it's armies fail, the pope finds trevor and asks him to kill dracula. The endings also make more sense and each different ending kind of fits together to form one.

Just beat Order of Shadows. It wasn't too bad for a cell phone game. Also in the process of playing 64 and I'm very surprised I like it as much as I do. Once I got used to the headache inducing graphics I really started to enjoy it.

So, this is the games I've beaten now:
Castlevania
Simon's Quest
Dracula's Curse
Adventure
Belmont's Revenge
Super Castlevania IV
Dracula XX
Bloodlines
Rondo of Blood
Symphony of the Night
Circle of the Moon
Harmony of Dissonance
Aria of Sorrow
Dawn of Sorrow
Portrait of Ruin
Lament of Innocence
Curse of Darkness
Castlevania X6800
Chronicles
Dracula X Chronicles
Order of Shadows
What a horrible night to have a curse!

I'll go ahead and list mine too as I didn't know about the cell phone game, is it tough professorbeanburrito?

I've beat

3)Legend of Demon/Evil Castle / Castlevania 3
4)Dracula XX
5)Dracula X: Nocturne in The Moonlight/Symphony of The Night
6)Legend of Dracula/Castlevania Adventure
7)Legend of Dracula II/Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge
8)Castlevania Legends / Demon/Evil Castle Dracula: Dark Night Prelude
9)Vampire Killer/Castlevania Bloodlines
10)Castlevania N64/ Demon/Evil Castle Dracula: Apocalypse
11)Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness/ Demon/Evil Castle Dracula: Apocalypse The Legend of Cornell
12)Castlevania Chronicles / Castlevania Chronicle Demon/Evil Castle Dracula.
13)Super Castlevania 4/ Demon/Evil Castle Dracula
14)Castlevania: Circle of The Moon / Demon/Evil Castle Dracula: Circle of The Moon
15)Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance/Castlevania: Concerto of the Midnight Sun
16)Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow/Castlevania:Minuet of Dawn
17)Castlevania: Lament of Innocence/Castlevania
18)Castlevania: Curse of Darkness / Demon/Evil Castle Dracula:Curse of Darkness

No Order of Shadows isn't really tough. Every time you die they start you right back where you were and every time I did die I found it easier to kill whatever it was that killed me first. The first time I fought a minotaur I found it more difficult than Dracula

It's also not incredibly long, but a good length for a cell phone game.
If you have the time and a few extra bucks to blow you should play it. It's got a neat little story

^ Cool I'll give it a shot. :)

I just started playing POR on the hard level as Jonathan, I've never attempted hard with him and charlotte before jus Richter and the sisters, it's damn hard, way harder than with the other guys, the bosses ain't too bad once you get their patterns down they just take a few more hits but the levels are insane especially the parts where the medusa heads and bats infinitely come at you. Has anybody beat it on hard with level 1 set as the max level? I normally set it to 50 as it takes too much time to kill anything if you can't level up.

I beat the sisters mode on level 1 cap and died only once when I got accidentaly hit by the creature's explosion the first time I got the hard modes. Otherwise this mode is so stupidly easy and shallow even hard mode level -100 would be like easy. :o

TLB,

If you've beaten the GB games or CV1, Rondo will be cake. Dunno about DXC though. I haven't had the pleasure of playing it yet. The music sounds phenomenal though.

Wow, yeah the sisters are easier to play with than Richter or Jonathan, were you referring to playing as the sisters when you said it was easy or everybody, cuz I've died a ton of times and  I'm stuck on the part where you fight Richter to unlock the whip. He takes so many damn hits it's crazy I've hit him like 50 times with my sarissa spear dealing out 57 damage each hit and he's still coming. :o

Cool, yeah I haven't unlocked it yet in DXC, but I'm glad to know it won't be so bad.
