My apologies for nitpicking but I cannot help but to notice that rather jarring and choppy jumping, whipping and running animation. Methinks an attempt to deal with it is in order.

That was due to the stage collision in parts because of certain objects in the stage was off. That's not an issue. I am fixing it as we speak as, I said the stage is not done...lol

I've noticed the choppy animations in earlier videos in different stages.

Are you sure it has to do with the stage?

Maybe, remember the gravity hasn't been set for the character yet either (so I can fly through the stages quickly). The game is sent at 60 fps but it could even be the recording methods I use. Don't worry so much bout it right now. I am just concentrating on getting the stages done as this point. When I fine-tune character animations when I get to that point it will get fixed. If you can show me exactly what you are seeing I can tell you exact. It's prob the gravity not set you are noticing.

Just finished the template for the second area of the Ghost Ship. Now on to the first section! The first section of the Ghost Ship will consist of the player making it from the outside of the ship by the hull, the second area you see here, lastly the will be a rotating room section. (aka Super Castlevania 4.)

Vamprotector Ghost Ship 1- 2 Alpha

I still need to fix some camera issues and add effects (like water); floating furniture, and ship effects. There is also some minor issues with items appearing from the barrels. I think it may be the camera that's messing with them, but the base of the stage is done!

Ghost Ship 1-1 (Work In Progress)

Updated some of the other blocks by adding water and I am in the process of mapping out Block 1-1. It should be something similar to this. Still have a lot to add, just wanted to post this month to show progress. I am about almost about half done with the stage bases for Helsing. After the Ghost Ship stage, I will work on the revamped "Stoker's Fable" Prologue stage. Once, that is done I will have only 2 stages left. I have some other's in mind, but they may go to Richter or be better served as hidden stages.

Thanks Lelygax. The trick for the ghost ship stages will be getting the physics working correct for the stages. Once I start putting special effects in and subtle touches they will be a treat to see! I didn't realize how hard it was to make a damn ship from scratch!

Slowly adding to the ghost ship. I guess it will be something like this. Still adding to it. It's looking a little linear right  now, but the special effects I have in mind should take care of that. I'll probably adjust the layout a bit.

Lookin' good! Yeah you still have got a lot of the side of the ship to detail. But that's usually the fun part about spriting.  ;)
