Acrade endition is a complete waste of money.
Rebalancing characters is what updates are for...
What? Yeah and beyond Fei Long and Yun being insane, everyone else was balanced nicely. Makoto was finally made playable compared to SSF4, Sakura is great, Cody was buffed up a bit, ect. Sure things like Vega and T.Hawk being nerfed made me scratch my head but overall with a little patching it could be potentially more balanced than Super was. That is kinda saying a lot though, no game is perfect.
Evil Ryu de-canon's SFIV altogether, as well as him being a akuma clone isn'y bad enough
Oni makes no sense, basically he's the "Ken" to gouken, yes ANOTHER Shoto
Now I can agree with Evil Ryu to an extent, I just hate his character but Oni is awesome and kinda makes sense. Both are "what if" characters, they aren't canon really they are just representations of what could happen. Evil Ryu is if Ryu gave into the Satsui No Hadou and Oni is if Akuma just lost his humanity and became a manifestation of the Satsui No Hadou, in other words a demon(hence the name "Oni"). Also Oni only has a tatsumaki that resembles a shoto, otherwise his fireballs and shoryuken are different(the shoryuken is a multi hit up close but a single hit in the air and not that strong). He also is easier to combo with than any other Shoto, hell maybe the easiest character to combo with in the game since all of his moves just flow so well. Add in unique supers and lots of other moves and hes about as shoto as Goken, which isn't THAT shoto.
Yun and Yang were useless, they were to replace Gen and Fei Long in SF3, besically another waste
I don't see a resemblance to any of those characters. All Yun and Fei share is that they are both great at pressuring and have some good brute force, otherwise they have completely different ways of doing this. Yang has Rekkas like Fei but hes a lot different. I have no idea where you got Gen from though, he shifts from 2 different styles which last I checked was not in Yun or Yang's repertoire.
My final thoughts. not even worth playing, SSFIV was good enough, the only plus to this game is the PC version, in which you get your "super" with extras
SSFIV had it's problems too, most of which were address with Arcade Edition. Most of the problems with AE were the balance issues with some of the new characters which again, probably will be patched soon since Ono plans on it as he realizes the game is unbalanced because of it.
