Oddly enough, Sonic Boom is the only real song I like from Sonic CD(all music versions), though the American soundtrack is more tolerable than the Japanese one(with all those crappy vocals everywhere). Though, seriously, music-wise, I think Sonic CD was a little too experimental for it's own good. Then again, I can't say I liked any of the music post-S&K. Sonic 1, 2, 3 and S&K are, to me, the definitive sound of Sonic, basically lighthearted themes motif-themed songs mixed in with some techno and freestyle. Oddly enough, most people hated Sonic 4's soundtrack, though I think it came the closest to capturing the style of music seen int he earlier games. The only thing, IMO, that sucked was that the synth was horribly outdated. As that one guy said in the Sonic group discussion(when Sega invited Sonic fans to give feedback about what went wrong with Sonic 4 ep 1), Sega's synth style was like that because they had no choice due to hardware limitations. Had they been given the ability to use real instruments, no doubt they WOULD'VE, which is what they should've strived for with Sonic 4's synth(make it realistic sounding).

It would seem as if the 3DS version has gotten another famous stage from sonic history.

First it was the mushroom hill from STH&K and now Emerald Coast from SA!

Open your heart is cool. But not as good as Live and Learn. I like the remix of OYH best.

But Sonic Boom is still a catchy and great song.

meh, diff music tastes for everyone, I personally like the JP/EU soundtrack, but there are some themes in the US version I like... Just not Sonic Boom, it's too unfitting to hear something that slow for sonic...

Yep, ANOTHER Collectors Edition N.A. got Screwed out.
This is complete B.S., I'm buying a PS3 essentially just to play this frikken game and I can't blow my cash on the good collectors edition.
All we probably get is the shitty Lords of Shadow and Heavy Rain Treatment.

30 bucks on steam and it sill looks amazing.

also, it looks like the jumps on classic sonic aren't as stiff as the demo, I like that.
