To add to that, here's something:
http://www.joystickdivision.com/2011/08/castlevania_harmony_of_despair_4.phpThis was on August 18, 2011.
Now I wouldn't be surprised if Konami went with that strategy, as to weigh how many fans there are for this game. So the "depending on how it sells" is the most likely case for sending the DLC in waves again like before. Problem with this strategy is that they may kill the hype for the game if it takes as long as the 360's DLC to come out (once a month if I remember right).
Whatever the case, fans of the game may demand the DLC be released sooner since again it is just a port with added local Coop. New DLC will be dependent on how many people are willing to wait and buy the DLC by my assumptions. But they also could just release the DLC already there and be done with it (Though we are hoping otherwise).
So two questions are the most present then:
1)Will new DLC be added to Harmony of Despair?
2)What will be done for the Castlevania Anniversary celebration?
Edit:
This thought just struck me; why would there be a need to send the DLC in waves if they were already made before and now its just a port? This could mean that if the initial sales are good, then they may just make more DLC for the game during the wait time between each of the existing DLC.
There wouldn't be any need to stall for time unless something more was going to be added to the game. So it only further boosts hope for the game to be expanded on even more (or perhaps a new project in the works?).
