Ahasverus, your LoS enthusiasm is really a bit too enthusiastic...
I loved LoS, and would like to see a sequel, but you are like, full on LoS fanboy... (no offense if any?)
That said, one thing I noticed about LoS is that in it's quest to reference elements from classicvanias, and use some of those elements and such, (even uses the Waterfall theme from CV4) Theres something else that Im surprised I didnt think about till now. LoS feels like it's trying to be a movie, a cinematic game, right? Everyone notices that, like it were "the game of the movie" and such. Well, in a way, that sort of brings back the cinematic style of classicvanias. Classic Vanias, particularly the NES ones, often had the film sprockets on the intro and title, to signify that it was like a movie, and as such, included the universal movie monsters. And LoS, brings that concept full circle and makes the game as if it was trying to be a movie. fidgety camera when you are standing still, snow on the "lens" during the rooftop segment of the castle, and the "big budget fantasy movie" vibe that many like to compare to LoTR.
Thats just an observation I felt like sharing.
