Welcome!

The crappy fighting game was probably "Way of the Warrior".  Does it have a three-sided YinYang, with the third color being blood red and dripping? :P

If it was Jaguar it was probably Kasumi Ninja. Way of the Warrior was for the 3DO.
Jaguar was awesome back in the day, cyber morph, checkered flag, and best of all... AvP!!!!!!!

I remember that image in a game magazine. I always thought of that game as riding on the success of Motal Kombat.

My bad, yeah I sometimes confuse 3DO and Jaguar.  You know... the 'did not do so well' consoles...

thanks guys.  i actually remember picking up the jaguar on closeout at kb toy store for $20.  i have some crappy fighting game for it and a football game that should be good for a laugh during parties if I can get anyone to play them.  old consoles are kind of a pain sometimes.  castlevania 1 bombed on me again yesterday, but i still think it's fun to play the games like that instead of emulation.  I don't know how dedicated I'll be in playing all the games but I definitely want to play though castlevania 3, chronicles, rebirth, and some of the gameboy advance/ds games, so I have plenty to play right now.
There are actually some fantastic games for the Jag.  No need leaving it for laughs only; pick up Alien vs Predator, Tempest 2000, Syndicate, Zool 2, and the best version of Wolfenstein 3D, and you'll see the Jag in a whole new light.

I never got to play Wolfenstein on Jaguar but i did have it for 3D0 and it was badass, had upgraded graphics and a new orchestrated soundtrack.  Oh and I forgot about tempest 2000 that was one my favorites as well.

I started playing castlevania chronicles.  the game gets pretty brutal.  I'm on the clock tower/werewolf section.  even on easy it's no joke with those gears.  this game makes me appreciate castlevania 4 even more.  to me that's a perfect game.  the intro, the music, the controls, the atmosphere, the fair feeling difficulty level, the ending.  it's a masterpiece.
