Hey, this forum seems to have serious issues (I don't think I need to tell you that ;)). I talk about Castlevania, others talk about how they don't like others here or that they can't stand others opinion of what Castlevania game they like or hate in any category. What, you think I don't like others either? I can't stand most people (just like everybody else :)), but you don't see me calling people names out of the blue just because I can't stand people. I like to mind my own business for the most part and chit chat the only thing I care about when I'm here. Good ol' Castlevania :), preferably of the classic kind and now the N64 non-IGA kind at the moment since even these 3D iterations seem much more closer to classic vania then even the 2D IGA games. Talking about how I don't like people here is such a waste of time for me, and why I for the most part ignore when other say shit about me, because frankly for the most part I don't care, and I can relate. Big deal. Not hard to be a tad adult about it. But then you have guys like Thomas Belmont who also obviously seems to can't stand my guts by just out of the blue sticking his nose in for no reason just to tell me off because he thinks he knows me better then me? Well, lol, sorry for being human and very tempted every now and then to jump in when I see something so silly to say something to stick up for myself with a jab of my own every now and then due to the apparent reason that it seems to be everybody fend for themself type motto here? And personally, I don't mind it this way. But if it's not this way, and your a mod here, Jorge, then get off your butt and make sure anyone else that tells me about how they don't like me (like I love them too or something, lol) + especially make no comment about anything Castlevania to top it off too (just out of the blue), to stop their crying and just stick to voting. And if not, then whatever, I do what I want to, just like everybody else here. Seems pretty cool to me? ... That is what this is all about, being cool, right? ;D And besides, I'm human too and can easily be tempted to take a shot at someone face just because I can't stand the way he looks. ;) (Sigh, I wish this was like in real life, sometimes. In real life, most people dare not have the balls to say shit to me if they don't know me. But this is the internet. "Your a big loser with no balls! Ugly as shit too! Well no worries here! Here, grab a pair of these massive balls, slap 'em on, slap a new face by the name of avatar and enjoy, this here is the internet, boy. Hic, hic, hic! ;D"

Thing is, he refuses to see that he's not even likable in the slightest.
...I was going to make a KoF reference here (you know which one), but then I decided against it.

Which of the 64 Castlevania games should be played by people new to the series who are curious about them.

Go with LoD, only play 64 to see better level design in several stages.

64, what with all the Kamikaze bomb skeletons emerging from the ground in the forest of silence and chasing you.

Yeah, that's where I noticed the biggest diff in difficulty between the two too... Man, it was the one thing that started to get to me about playing the first version. When I got to that level again in the second game I was like "Oh no! Not again!" But then I was relieved to have a lot more breathing space while exploring that came with playing the second game.

I started with CV64. Got good enough with it over the years that it's no real hassle now. But to this day I still cannot get past the tower of execution. Just kept on getting turned around and not knowing where to actually go without killing myself  :P. LoD fixed this nicely by making the tower of execution into more of a straight-forward level which allowed me to actually complete it.

And thus justice has been served, though I do worry if he'll blow up like a bitch instead and be even worse when he's back considering his reaction and attitude towards your previous warning.

I understand, though I am merely voicing my worries. Lingering frustration on my part may have caused it to sound offensive.
