GBA Castlevanias on the 3DS?

Do you think Konami and Nintendo will make this happen? GBA should be coming eventually to the eshop. Its seems crazy for them not to...  Surely all three Castlevanias would sell extremely well.  Who knows maybe we will get lucky hear some news during E3?

I hope so, knightmere-chan. Despite the fact i & all of us own the physical copies, i would prolly by them again for my 3DS. My Only hope would be they make it pseudo-3D... maybe not o.o;

Yeah, GBA on the eshop needs to happen very soon. I'd buy all three games in a heartbeat even though I already own them. I wonder if Nintendo will announce downloadable GBA games at E3? It's well over due! Please please please. I really want the Kirby games too, and Metroid Zero Mission. And Golden Sun. And Fire Emblem. And and and..

Yeah, GBA on the eshop needs to happen very soon.
Preferably, not before Nintendo fixes the way GBA games are played on the 3DS. As it is right now, all Ambassadors get is just the game- can't tap the screen or close the system to pause it, unlike the NES and GB/C games; the games also suffer from a piss poor, pixelated stretching and scaling of the screen (as opposed to the very smooth scaling of the GB/C games)... and no, I'm not gonna press SELECT on the Home Menu to play the games on a tiny-ass screen with an enormous ugly black border either. Basically, the GBA emulator for 3DS is incredibly half-assed at the moment, which needs to kinda not be a thing if the GBA is made available to the general public... but maybe things have changed already; I haven't touched the GBA games on my 3DS in ages.

But yeah, I'd totally be all over having all 3 GBA Castlevanias on my 3DS either way. I'd probably destroy my L/R buttons from Harmony of Dissonance, though. :P

Eh it would be cool I suppose to get them more exposure. And so they could all be judged fairly on their individual merits by a whole new audience who don't have to worry about an un-backlit screen. I wouldn't buy them even if I had a 3DS though, I'm not big on rebuying things I already own if there's not some sort of major upgrade involved. Which is especially not the case when I can play these games on my tv with the Gamecube.

I'll bet that you will see them arrive just after Mirror of Faith. I would assume they'd want to generate console specific interest first, then ride the hype and popularity off of that by releasing them a month or so after MoF's release. That's the best way I can think of to market them.

What do you guys think if one special retro CV were bundled in as an unlockable game in Mirror of Fate?
That might be a possibility.
With 3D, even, like the Kid Icarus, Kirby, Xevious, and Excitebike titles.

Interesting idea.  As the game will have both Trevor and Simon in it, it seems logical that the first three NES titles could be packaged like this.

CV1 with 3D graphics would certainly be something.

I was wondering the same. It was never mentioned beyond that E3.

They did it with Twinbee, why not with Castlevania?
I'd pay for it.
