It's actually quite epic.  ;D

I thought watching this was amusing with the voice acting.

It's a funny video, definitely, it just strikes too close to home. ;_; It's so spot-on and exemplifies why I hate most modern FPSs—namely ones which model themselves after the COD series.

Me too, I can even play them sometimes, but I prefer classics like Duke Nukem and Shadow Warrior or even Half-Life since in these new games you regain your health automatically, with makes no sense and they focus in cutscenes more than needed.

That was hilarious.  Over the top handholding, tons of exposition for every little bit of gameplay, style over substance, it's all there.

I loved the DLC moment, as well as the facts that they dissuaded exploration, and made "E" do fucking EVERYTHING.

Owned DN1 for PC back in the days of Apogee... along with Monster Bash and Halloween Harry. Apogee put out some awesome platformers back then.

That video made me sad for Doom, because the atmosphere of Doom is creepy, all the cookie cutter shit today in the FPS industry just doesn't convey a sense of fear and danger at every turn. In Doom you had to survive, ammo could run out, and you had to find health packs to heal yourself.

And whomever classified Half Life 1 and 2 as auto healing, no sir, play it. You still needed health pickups to survive, your character would not autoheal like the FPS games of today.

Also awhile back I played one of the Rainbow Six PS3 games (I don't know which, and I played that one like a full fledge run and gun, I could sit in a good spot, my health would refill and onward I'd go nailing more enemies down. That's not how the game is supposed to go from what I've ever seen.
