I remember back when EB Games and Gamestop both sold classic games. I didn't buy too much from Gamestop though. The EB Games I know of (before it became Gamestop) was built on the late end of them selling classic games, so their prices were ridiculous. I mean, who pays $50 for a copy of the original Final Fantasy with nothing else but the cartage? The original FF goes for like, $20 on Ebay for just the cart.

I normally shop at retro game stores or shop on Ebay for my retro games though. There are surprisingly a good number of retro gaming stores around where I live. The 3 closest cities near me have a nice variety. There this place called Disc Replay that's pretty nice. They can overprice stuff sometimes, but I've gotten a few good things from them. Then there's a Game X Change and a place called Dave's Video back in my hometown. I like Dave's Video more because it's been there for as long as I can remember. I've gotten all kinds of retro games from them for good prices. There's also a Dave's Video where I currently live too. I've found some nice things at thrift stores around here too. Like a boxed copy of Donkey Country 2 with manual for $3.

I guess it's nice that Gamestop is going to sell classic games again, but they will probably be pretty expensive. So I'll stick with Ebay or my retro stores.  :P

I always hear about people making rad finds at thrift stores and garage sales, but every time I go to one, I walk away pretty disappointed. I guess ya gotta be a regular or something...
Oh yeah, and also:
meat

Soda as well.

Or not have any expectations. It's amazing how not having those dramatically decreases instances of disappointment and radically increases moments of 'nice surprises'.
