B-grade quality. Kinda hokey. Director could use some sped up playback in areas to make fight scenes seem more realistic. Scripting is kinda slow. Dorn's not in his prime, I think. Dracula has a new origin story (maybe leaves open an extended sequel if the series garners enough popularity. No skeletons. No zombies. But it has a cameo by The Ferryman, so +1.

I not a big fan of the actor who plays Simon he seems like the weakest of the cast
never the less as a whole it's surprisingly captivating and I liked some of the other characters so I hope that Konami doesn't step in or atleast if they do it's to support the creators not stop them.

Also Simon damn well better fight with a whip on more than one occassion

Okies. Marina is soooo much better as a full-featured actress *snicker* than as a voice actress. That whole scene was so captivating. And it's kinda fun hearing all the name drops (Nikolai) and CV tropes (in the preview for the next episode). Reinhardt's actor is intriguing too.

1.) Wow Marina Sirtis did a wonderful job as the gypsy woman. Why she wasn't in more main-stream stuff is beyond me.
2.) The actor playing Reinhardt is doing a wonderful job and I hope the character survives.
3.) Ok I am SO frickin' happy they finally introduced the whip, as well as some nice references to Rinaldo and Leon. The bladed-stake looks like it came from LoS, but thankfully they didn't puss out and make it a Combat Cross but a full-fledged whip.
