Fun fighting game. I don't take it seriously and it goes well, haha! The music ROCKS.

I've never been able to get into it.  It's easily the CV title I've spent the least time with, of all the CVs I own, including the Tiger handheld.  It's just so awful, cheesy, and boring.

I personally enjoy it. Only thing I don't care for are character design and how easy it is to get your big special attacks.

I also enjoyed it as a guilty pleasure, all things considered. It's a lot better when you ignore the story mode.

There's a decent game in there somewhere, but either their inexperience with making a fighting game or fear of actually going all out with the concept hindered it.

It may very well be both. What Konami should've done was examine all the fighting games that are out there, and more specifically those made by Capcom and SNK. It would have helped them somewhat in making a decent fighting title.

I just look at CV Judgment in the same way I look at FF Dissidia.  I don't take the story too seriously, and otherwise, it's cool to fight it out between some of the series' best characters.  As for the designs, well, I'm an Obata fan from Death Note and don't mind the different appearances for a one-off title like this.

Frankly, I'm glad Judgment didn't go the route of a conventional fighter.  Castlevania is often at its best when it feels like an "A-list classic gone B-list next-gen series", if you know what I mean.  I think that's part of what I dislike about LoS.  It tries too hard to appeal to mainstream action gamers, but since it's not as good as Bayonetta and doesn't fit into classic CV lore, it resides in some uncomfortable limbo that makes me unhappy as a long-time CV fan.

Ultimately, I like CV Judgment for what it is, but I don't think we need to see any more entries like it for quite some time.

Other than the artwork and certain storyline 'arcs', I never really had much of an issue with the game to be honest.  I mean, I never really took it 'seriously' as a fighting game, so the competitive nature and gameplay (or lack thereof) in comparison to other figthting games didn't bother me at all. I took it more or less as 'so bad, it's good'.  And my feelings haven't changed: I don't take it seriously and just had fun with it for what it was, so I still enjoy playing it from time to time.

...But that artwork still makes me cringe.  :P

Having a PS3 I never played it. I like the art, voice acting, and music though. From youtube videos the combat looks generic but not terrible. I'd like to play if it ever comes to PSN.

I enjoyed it since the first time. I think Castle Mode could have been better done, but all in all, despite some humourous stuff, I think it's fun and it looks awesome. The aesthetic (despite some character designs, the world is beautiful) and the music of this game are really good.
Now I'm tired, eternally walking... forever dying, and never stopping. I feel in sorrow, all I see is white. I’m following a blind way beneath a sad sky.

That's the Zelda cartoon (which was Cheesy-Awesome), not the CD-I Zelda (which was Cheesy-terrible).

The year it came out I got a Wii for Christmas, the day after I bought it.  I liked it then and I like it now.  The only things I would have changed is mostly character design, ie Trevor should have looked like he did in CoD and had Steve as his voice actor.  I would have included Leon Belmont, Walter and a Succubus.  Alucard should have looked like SoTNs design.

Just little things like that.

I received a Wii U this year and the first two games I played was Judgement and The Last Story.

Maria was annoying though, her whole breast fetish thing was silly.  They should have used her SoTN version.

And to this day the you tube video of Trevor chasing Simon off the cliff cracks me up.
