I don't want to create an entire new topic for this so I'll just ask it here: what do you think/hope will happen at E3? Just the obvious Lords of Shadow 2 coverage or something more? It may not be realistic to expect a new 3DS game announcement right away, so I'm hoping for an interesting spin-off game. I would be down with Judgment 2 for WiiU.

At the current state of things, I would be happy if they announced Judgment 2, but I highly doubt that would happen.
I'm in also for a new downloadable title, be it a new remake alla Rebirth, or Harmony of Despair 2. A port of Castlevania: The Arcade would also be great (with Wii controls).
Now I'm tired, eternally walking... forever dying, and never stopping. I feel in sorrow, all I see is white. I’m following a blind way beneath a sad sky.

I think the top of the Castlevania's vision of Mercury Steam has been CV MOF (ok is not..but I love)
I doubt we will see in LOS2 anything close to MOF (for many reasons)
and about "Return of the Dragon"
I expect a game with high production values and very commercial, a step even stronger, with Dracula becomes a dragon (literally) or Castlevania Musou (the feeling is that, sry)
I think Cox is unleashed and unstoppable ^^o

My hope for 2013 is..PLATINUM GAMES o WAYFORWARD ... and maybe a JAPAN reboot of SCV IV for the 30th year ...

But Konami continue on the path of darkness ... LOS showed the success at Konami.

No turning back.
Great (my favorite series will live) but...sad :-[

Oh you silly kids.

Why do you prostrate your grand desires for the next year of the series, when you know exactly what we're getting. We've gotten Mirror of Fate and we're getting Lords of Shadow 2. That's a handheld title and a console title in the same year. The only time our series has gotten anything more than that was 2010, when Lords of Shadow, Harmony of Despair and Encore of the Night were released. (and Pachislot II, if you want to be technical)

Say what you really mean and just blurt out "WHATS COMING AFTER LORDS OF SHADOW 2?! I NEED TO KNOW!!" Because we all know that's what the majority of us are the most curious about - the fate of the series past Coxlevania.

Personally I hope we get a game where Castlevania, Vampire Hunter D, Hellsing, Blood Omen/Soul Reaver, Darkstalkers and Bloodrayne all come together in a ULTIMATE VAMPIRE BATTLE OF ULTIMATE DESTINY.

Yuzo Koshiro, Michiru Yamane, Nobuo Uematsu and John Williams will do the music.

I like the LoS series. But I'd love a CV game with a much heavier gothic atmosphere.
Laura and Gabriel arrive in the deepest cave of the castle and... they find IGA.

I would really love to see Konami make a Castlevania with hand drawn graphics, or go the Vanillaware route and essentially do what they did with most sprites in SotN but with high res gorgeous artwork.

Honestly, Castlevania should have received that kind of budget and treatment long ago. Just imagine it, a new 2D Castlevania with 3D backgrounds and hand drawn sprites that match Ayami Kojima's art style or something else people would be familiar with and gladly associate with the series.

Virt/Jake Kaufman should be in charge of the soundtrack too.

For E3? Outside of LoS2 info, not much. Maaaaaybe some new Virtual Console type ports. And that's a big maybe.

Since many companies have been releasing those there art-books (Like the Mega Man Complete Works or whatever it's called), I'd thoroughly enjoy one crammed with as much official art as they can find.

Old galamoth was hopping around Transylvania like a big playground, when suddenly B.B hood burst from the shade and hit galamoth with a water grenade.

I could possibly do a remake if I wanted to.

Because desires doesnt changes so easily, its not because that we will not receive what we want that we will lose our hopes. That why its a "Hopes and dreams" topic. :P

See? You have hopes too. hopes with good taste if you ask me.

Castlevania by VanillaWare would be awesome.
Now I have a 5th studio to hope for (Konami Japan, WayForward, Platinum, FromSoftware, VanillaWare).

if they do a WII U Judgement... i want ARC SYSTEM WORKS to go to town on it... gorgeous mastery of the 2D fighting genre... i Believe with them Iga can happily kick his feet up and let (them) piece it all together... Maybe Castle mode will actually become a side-scrolling beat em up!  :D

how about some dlc for mirror of fate for 2013?  it could happen.  it'd be funny if they actually went ahead and offered classic remixed background music for the stages for one thing.

Classic music seems like it's treated as taboo in LoS at this point.

I have yet to see any DLC come out for a cartridge game. If it did happen it would be a first.
