I was speaking of the part that says "Once again Simon Belmont is called upon to destroy Dracula"

Once again means he already did it at least once. :P

That, or he just ignored the calling the first few times.  I can see it now:  Simon sitting in his easy chair, tipping back a beer while he watches TV.  He hears a voice from the sky and replies, "Not now!  It can wait til Gray's Anatomy is over!"

This could make an amusing spoof.

You don't have to be japanese to enjoy an almost text-less version of a platform game. :P

The only part in cv4j that's japanese is the prologue. The rest is in english. But since there's next to no text there it doesn't matter.

And the japanese version of cv4 isn't censored at all unlike the usa one.

WEll then, how did he get the jp game? And why is he playing it over the AMERICAN version? idk, just not like me I guess. And what do you mean when you say that the English version was censored? I didn't know there was anything to censor!

You can download the Japanese rom just as easily as the European and American roms.

I'd buy the ones that you can't emulate.
Unless you can score some on ebay for reasonable prices, especially DracX for snes. I remember wanting it, just to have it and I played it and I said "damn, this is hard and it's not even fun." I emulated the game and didn't even play it through. Theres so much unjustice going on that it isn't even fair.

I will say that the PSP Dracula Chronicles game has pissed me off so bad that I almost went angryNintendoNerd on my psp.

Of those games, Super Castlevania IV and Bloodlines should be your top priorities, IMO.
It's like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but instead it's Who Wants Fried Chicken? I do.
