I'll stick to systems I know fairly well.

NES - Super Mario Bros. 3
SNES - Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
N64 - Diddy Kong Racing, Banjo-Kazooie, and Conker's Bad Fur Day
GCN - Luigi's Mansion and killer7
Wii - Super Mario Galaxy, No More Heroes, and NMH2: Desperate Struggle
GBA - Metroid: Zero Mission
NDS - Hotel Dusk: Room 215
3DS - Super Mario 3D Land and Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon (callin' this one despite it not having been released yet)
VB - Virtual Boy Wario Land and Teleroboxer
Genesis - Contra: Hard Corps
PSX - Metal Gear Solid
PS2 - Silent Hill 2
PS3 - Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection (is that answer cheating?)
Xbox - Grabbed by the Ghoulies
360 - Shadows of the Damned
PC - Thief: The Dark Project/Thief Gold
DOS - Duke Nukem 3D

I'll be a Mario fanboy till the day I die, I'd wager. Not that I don't have heavy criticisms of the series and certain entries; the whole "Peach is kidnapped AGAIN" lack of storytelling has seriously gotten on my nerves, wishing a Mario game could have a good story again like in Super Mario RPG, and I feel that the console New Super Mario Bros. games (not the handheld ones) are severely lacking in single player enjoyment factor. I just can't get people together to play video games that often so single player is of utmost importance to me.

But yeah, Yoshi's Island is my absolute favorite game of all time, beautiful in every way (the SNES version; the GBA one feels stunted and has that annoying Yoshi voice). Reminds me of a time when Nintendo were pretty much king of all things video gaming in my mind: the best, most ingenuitive gameplay with the most intuitive controls, the best graphics, (some of) the best music; now, I still love 'em, but they're really lacking in areas, music being one of them. (You just don't hear tunes like from SNES F-Zero or Star Fox anymore.)
Oh yeah, and also:
meat

Soda as well.

Hey, I know thats not the same thing, but if you want we can play something online.

Did you ever beat it? I'd like to add that one to my Atari collection but haven't seen it in the wild. It looks pretty good for an Atari adventure game from what I saw on the AVGN.

Hm I'm not seeing a whole lot of patterns in here (except maybe for a liking of old school jRPGs and Mario, and those generally were the most memorable of games from back then) which is good. It suggests that Castlevania appeals to a wide range of players. Some players love the challenge of ClassicVanias, some enjoy the exploration of the MetroidVanias, others just really like the Gothic atmosphere and setting of the games. And I suspect many of us here relish all three. I know I do.

Far too many to list on every system that I own. And I own a lot of systems.

I agree. The story invoked a kind of sadness that was never touched upon any other Zelda game. All the characters whom seemed so alive in that game were nothing more then an illusion created by the mind of a dreamer. If you really want a tear-jerking experience then read the official Zelda: Link's Awakening manga.

Link's Awakening and Final Fantasy Adventure -- who knew monochromatic gaming could make a grown man cry! But yeah, storywise Link's Awakening is just so damned depressing. I said FFA was my favorite GBA game, but really that was only because I played it so much as a kid. I feel bad for not mentioning Link's Awakening because you'll be hard pressed to find someone that actually played that game that doesn't get emotional when Ballad Of The Wind Fish plays. And yeah, I don't know if I've ever personally played any game where the ending was as sad and depressing as Link's Awakening. Maybe that's why I didn't list it as my favorite. I mean, I was emotional when the girl in FFA turned into a sapling, but really that's nothing compared to realizing an entire village and one of the sweetest girls in gaming history along with it was all just an illusion.

Actually I kinda take that back. Terranigma depressed the fuck out of me. It was so corny and cartoony, but it was so damned depressing the second time through because then you knew where Crysta was, what it was, who was living there, and what was going to happen to the girl you loved. Oh my god, that game wrenched my gut and crushed my feelings almost as hard as Final Fantasy VI, but at least FF6 had a happy ending. I've always thought Terranigma's was downright depressing and it didn't help that I think the ending theme is simply beautiful.

I forget but, I think one of his  cap pkmn was a dragonite which in the end IIRC he was not impressed) and for some reason I still do  :P . The only one I beat by my self would be fire red, ruby was really hard for me for some reason and my 3ds does not read my soulsliver I got the dang 3 legendary shiny pocket monsters from that gamestop promotion.

Search for Super Bros. 8, its a Don Doko Don 2 hack. I've beaten it with 4 and its more difficult than Superman.

Super Mario Bros 8 Ending Famicom NES Nintendo

The Final Boss is easy if compared with the rest of the game.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...*jazz hands*

Arcade - Double Dragon
NES - Ninja Gaiden for now. Probably have a totally different answer down the road. Too hard to pick just one on the NES.
Gameboy - Zelda - Oracle of Seasons
SNES - Mega Man X
Genesis - Streets of Rage II (Best beat-em-up ever!)
32X - Doom...I guess...
PC - Doom II (I always find myself coming back to play either this or the original all over again)
N64 - Zelda - Ocarina of Time
PS1 - Metal Gear Solid
PS2 - Resident Evil 4 (I've played this and RE2 so many times that I've killed any chances of future enjoyment)
GC - REmake
PS3 - Either Demon's Souls or Dark Souls (Can't decide if I like the Nexus or the open world better. Tower of Latria in its entirety is one of my favorite video game levels, period, though.)
DS - Contra 4
Xbox 360 - Bioshock
Wii - Zelda - Twilight Princess
Game Boy Advance - Double Dragon Advance (THAT is how you redo an old franchise)
PSP - MGS - Peace Walker (Metal Gear stories keep getting stupider, but damn this was a fun game)

EDIT - Aw hell, I forgot about Super Metroid. But choosing between that and MMX is impossible for me.

I've played RE4 so many times since its GameCube release yet I still enjoyed the shizz out of it on the PSN, heh. That really should be placed alongside my other favorite GCN games along with probably REmake and Eternal Darkness. But I can't be too greedy...
