The only major issue I have with this port is the control scheme. I don't understand why the Triple Shock controller that works natively with EVERY OTHER current game I own, DOESN'T work with LoS without me having to use Joy2Key. And normally it's not a big deal, but it makes the movement controls a pain in the ass when you need really....Ah hell I can't think of the word. There are times when I want to only move just a tiny bit and I wind up moving too much because I'm emulating a button press with the analog stick rather than having the game read the actual movements from the stick itself.

Not really. The game supports XBOX360 controllers and drivers. Anything besides that isn't in their power at all, they didn't promise that the game would work with every type of input out there.

Playing with the keyboard is a big pain in the butt. Hopefully, Cox said LoS2 had keyboard+mouse controls.

LoS isn't really a game to be played with K+M... buy a X360 controller and you'll never have problems with games on Steam again.

K+M is good only for FPS/TPS and games where you need the mouse precision.

Every PC gamer should have at least 1 controller because of most games and all emulators.

If you have a bluetooth adapter or an USB connection, you should be able to use most modern console controllers with PC games.
I use a PS3 DualShock3 for most of my PC games that would use it.

Haven't run into many problems... but I do admit I do not play PC games as much as other people here do.

You'll always plays worse than you could be playing, in most of the games out there.

I just finished Wygol Village, and stopped before I entered the catacombs.

I'm certainly having much more fun with this game than I ever did with Curse of Darkness, I don't know why I put off playing it for so long.

[edit]
I can't believe how beautiful this game is, though. The performance on my pretty pitiful PC is astounding, I am clocking 50-60 FPS. I know a lot of people hated the combat, but I think it's alright so far. I know some people said the game was button mashy, but I don't get that impression.

Well here's the thing: Devil May Cry 4, SSF4AE, and Devil may Cry DmC all work natively with the controller I'm using. Why LoS doesn't is beyond me. It has nothing to do with Windows, the game requires some special controller apparently to be able to work and I can't for the life of me imagine why they'd do that. It's not a huge deal but it's annoying in places. But I think I'd almost rather play the game on a keyboard than a 360 controller. Those things are hot garbage. :x

xbox360ce will solve all issues with games that don't support your controller but the 360 one, and please to NOT use Joy2key with this game, the Keyboard controls, despite being extremely precision based, are very inaccurate, which makes the spinning blade trail HELL for people without controllers...

Thanks mate, I'll give that a try! :)

Honestly if LoS has a weakness it's the direction controls while climbing/shimmying. They were even a bit wonky in the PS3 version. Sometimes you could drop from a ledge by simply pressing "down" and most other times you had to press down and jump. Sometimes when shimmying left or right you stop (of I do) because the controls are a bit Iffy.

Am I the only one who finds the X360 controller a mess?
Any 2D game is impossible to play good with this joystick, and a 3D game just doesn't feel as nice as a PS3 joystick feels.
Is it me, or it's really a bad joystick?
Now I'm tired, eternally walking... forever dying, and never stopping. I feel in sorrow, all I see is white. I’m following a blind way beneath a sad sky.
