Ooooh they are actually localizing it. I initially got a 3DS XL for Fire Emblem Awakening (Greatest SRPG, EVER!! And I'm not that into SRPGs, but the emotional climax FE:A delivers (was in tears by the time the final battle took place, the story and relationships build up to that point is remarkable.) , it's a shame it's overlooked by the majority of SRPG and even Nintendo fanbase. Well SRPG is a niche genre in itself. but the emotion and relationships and story generated from it, blows away the AAA rpgs and story praised videogames out there. It also proves that you can have a player created character has a intense role in the core story, alongside a "hero" character the player interacts with. The gameplay is the most rewarding and intense in the whole genre, really, without having a steep learning curve, nor hours of grinding to complete the story. The characters all feel strong for the most part and development is at a optimal pace. And the difficulty settings allow players to make it as casual or hardcore as they like. If there's one SRPG people should play without any spoilers, it's FE:A.
Cannot stress how the element of surprise is key to many of the feelings and progression made, but yea these days people take that sort of stuff to granted since they can look up spoilers from start to finish without even playing it themselves,
which is okay for those that don't plan on getting that platform or have no patience for SRPGs, but really, leveling up and pacing in this blows away a lot of SRPGs and RPGs out there, including the ultra tedious Disgaea series. Of course experiences may vary, no two FE:A's playthroughs are the same since there are so many ways players can play, and if they choose the more classic/hardcore settings, killed characters are lost for the rest of the campaign, so that, plus the support/relationship ranks all factor into a very difference experience and circumstances how the results add up, as well as how long it takes to complete it. So it does provide options for easy and fast playthrough as well as slower and challenging, and it does have post game incentives too. )
but anyways, I already explained the original reason I bought a 3DS XL (for a SRPG, crazy, I know, but FE:A is totally worth it to me.
There hasn't been a single videogame, book or movie that generated that level of emotion and bonds to me, especially how it uses
the player creation feature, along with the interaction with the other hero character, Chrom, and the other characters that join the heroes. A few rpgs have used the dual hero approach where the player created character supports the other hero, like Martin in TES Oblivion, and Leonard from White Knight Chronicles, but none of them have delivered interaction and story between player and heroes at this level alongside with a more significant role in the core story. It makes it all the more immersive and personal.

)
Aaaanyway, got caught up talking about FE:A, but Senran Kagura Burst looks to have a winning combination of refreshing ninja universe, along with some fanservice and brawler gameplay. It's no River City Ransom, but the depth of the characters interaction and
wealth of storytelling makes it much more than another brawler (and a lot more thought put into its story and characters than say, The Bouncer, Double Dragon Neon, Urban Reign, or Gekido.). And with both stories included (Hanzo Academy and Hidden Serpent Girls Academy) with over 100+ missions, and a multitude of visual novel cutscenes and lots of unique playable characters (and hidden characters), Senran Kagura Burst is looking to have a heart and soul besides a pretty body.

Senran Kaguras are made on PS4, which could lead to the implementation of the New Wave ninjas and more in new Senran Kagura games.)
It's rated Teen, so that can help it's sales, the series does have tons of potential to be successful worldwide, overall this series will add more positive flavor in the industry than just more shooters and the whole "medieval/sci fi RPG" routine, as well as those overrated "interactive movies" that keep appearing, and Senran Kagura is much better and more refreshing than more Naruto and DBZ games.
I don't think there has been a franchise this charismatic, cheerful and fascinating since Sailor Moon.
