Tomb Raider Fraud... Edition?

let me look this up.

Oh, so now Square is adapting the Namco Tales marketing gimmick of releasing a glorified beta version of their mainstream titles on one platform, and then releasing a better version somewhere else within the same year to cheaply make more money using existing assets / stab existing customers in the back.  My faith in gaming society certainly isn't hindered by the fact that this is apparently still a viable business strategy.

It's not even that really. They'll bullshit about how they're making this utilizing "the power that only next gen consoles can offer". But everyone knows this $60 rerelease is just a GOTY edition port of the PC version.

I try and stick to old FF. Made the mistake of buying FF13 and gave it away to a friend. Hated it. I really love FF4 and 8 though.

Ah, the novel...
Just what were they thinking when they made that? I've heard quite a few things about it, and most of them sound like the writer's trying to emulate Taro Yoko rather badly.
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.
^^

Then Lords of Shadow 2 just takes a big, semi-solid, smelly, pea-green dump all over everything.

Who's Taro Yoko?  Is he (she?) anywhere near as unintentionally hilarious as Final Fantasy X-2.5?

Because my god this is a goldmine.

He's the guy behind the first and third Drakengard, along with NieR, I believe.

So would you say http://www.fanfiction.net/s/10069646/1/A-Brief-Moment-in-History is an improvement over Final Fantasy canon?  Or is it still Tidus-exploding-head tier?

But they're not even from the same universe as Vanille.
