Actually you stated nobody would stick up for DX which was when I opted to chime in just to rattle your wee little utopia, nothing more.

I said that I hadn't seen anyone stick up for it, because I hadn't. My point was was that my opinion isn't exactly a fringe one since the game generally doesn't have a great reputation. That's what I said and where the implications end. There's no "utopia".

Blah blah blah and this is all your opinion which is a kneejerk reaction to what I stated.. Hope the irony is not lost on you.

So I guess you must've used 50/50 and phone a friend since you're reverting to asking the audience.. It's a cry for attention which isn't fooling anyone.. It's like, the boy who cried 'Rondo'

Do you even know why Rondo/Dracula X were brought up earlier? It's because one poster indicated that he thought Bloodlines' inclusion in a personal top whatever list is strange, and that Dracula X represents a better choice. My replies were to show that it's not exactly a strange preference and there are good reasons for it.

You hopped in here seeing that someone thinks poorly of the game, and started replying without really considering anything. Boy who cried Rondo? I've only brought up Rondo as a comparison, since it's the original game of which Dracula X is based on, and the comparisons come naturally since assets, scenario, all sorts of things are shared. How many times do I have to tell you that I think Rondo is overrated?

Anyways, I'm officially out of patience. I write up these posts, but honestly, some people don't deserve much else other than being told to just piss off.

All right, that's enough of that, both of you. On the one hand, derision, you're right in that you're allowed to explain why you thinks Dracula X is bad or why the rankings discussed in this thread aren't necessarily "strange." On the other hand, zangetsu's also right in that many of your responses have been too combative. Differing opinions are fine, but try to lay off the insults--even if you think the other guy isn't doing the same. At the very least, taking the high road will make you look better, eh?

Now, back on topic. I don't much disagree with Screw Attack's ratings, though I don't entirely agree with them either...the guys voice kind of annoys me a little, TBH. :/

Not annoyed, just askin' em to tone it down a bit, hehe :) We all gotta keep things cool around here XD

Anyways, rewatching the video, I gotta ask, what's screwattack known for? I haven't been paying much attention to the video gaming review scene for a while. Are these guys particularly funny or something? They just seem enthusiastic to me, though I suppose I can't fault them.

The game is more challenging, better artwork (no shitty anime cutscenes) music on par, has better platforming and more interesting levels and genuinely harder difficulty and multiple endings.

Just getting back to this thread.. This got interesting. About the part of your post that i quoted. I could not have said this better. The anime cutscenes are an embarrassment. It's an example of the Japanese starting to forget that this game is based on WESTERN culture. Not theirs. I don't want a ryu from street fighter looking dude in a headband in my Castlevania game. And i really hate all these feminized looking characters in the newer games.

Some of us have not drank enough fluoride (in the water) to have a lack of testosterone yet. True story for the people who don't know yet. It's worth a google.

This magic whip could be an example of advanced alien technology.

Gun lord, I apologise for the vulgarity of my previous post.

Morning star, fluoride does a lot of negative things in excess, like calcifying the pineal gland.
Also I'm tired of people bagging DOS and POR for anime styled Art when Rondo does a terrible job of it and it doesn't mesh with the in game sprites and environments which are beautiful in comparison.

I can pretty much agree with the list, although DoS is my favorite. "Good luck trying to find a list of the best GBA games that doesn't have Aria of Sorrow on it, I'm serious go ahead and try you're not gonna find one and if you do the list is wrong." So true XD
Art not done by me.
Last night I lied down in my bed and looked up at the stars. Then I thought, "Wait, where the hell is the ceiling?"

They've done a billion gaming reviews for some time, and they host Angry Video Game Nerd's videos.
