Hell yes...that was a great game. Downloaded it when PS Plus offered it for free.
The main game became fairly easy after a while, so Bitterblack Isle was probably the best part of the whole thing. It threw so much at you sometimes (like 2 chained Gorecyclopes in the same room), and you'd get squashed at first, but then you could come back stronger and slay just about anything. Fighting Death was tedious, but awesome. I liked how I leveled up like 6 times in a row after beating him.

I used a strider for my main character, too...turned him to assassin later. My main pawn was a warrior. Most of the pawns I'd hire were no more useful than paperweights, though. They were actually a detriment to the party in tougher fights, because I'd spend more time reviving them than I would fighting. But then the top-ranked pawns were godly. They'd very rarely go down at all.
I inadvertently maxed out my affinity with Valmiro, so the game made my character gay. I still get a chuckle when I think about how many people Capcom probably pissed off by making their characters gay. I can imagine the dudebros' bitter tears as they type their angry rants on GameFAQs.
