This is on PS4, so the framerate will be improved.
From doesnt have the best track record with framerate. Demons Souls chugged whenever you rolled into any more than 2 barrels, Dark Souls 1 had Blighttown, which was a terrible framedroppy mess, and had the PC version locked at 30FPS with the same framerate issues without DSfix. Then DS2 had weapon durability tied to framerate, meaning that at 60FPS, weapons broke faster. not gonna hold my breath on that framerate getting improved. DS2 ran smoothly, but it was also, visually, MUCH simpler than DS1, and it its areas were more linear and small. BloodBorne also seems to follow DS1's trend of using fog to hide the render distance so that it doesnt chug when you get a view of the city
If they didn't show the trailer, people would complain there was only the E3 CG trailer to see at E3 and demand gameplay. people got early stages gameplay build, and they still complain.
still doesnt mean the final product will be better. Remember Dark Souls 2.
Ah well, Bloodborne is looking to have one of the best soundtracks bloodborne gameplay trailer
How can you say that from just a trailer?
It's nice they called it something else. Just like Dark Souls carried the torch for Demon's Souls, so can Bloodborne without needing to be under the same brand.
I agree on that, especially since Miyazaki had said he wanted his vision to reach everyone- if he had turned around and made a PS4 exclusive Dark Souls, he would be a hypocrite. (He still kind of is though.)
that said, considering what we know of BB, it really doesnt seem like it will be that similar to Demons/Dark Souls at all aside from superficial mechanics like fog doors and such. Which is probably better, since it shows From (and Miyazaki) know how to make more than just 1 type of game.
