Topic: Did Sonia know Alucard was Dracula's son before the game started?

Judging by their dialogue in their confrontation scene, it seems she didn't, because she said she could ask what he's doing in the castle, and Alucard says "This problem concerns only me and my father. I've come to fight the lord of this castle. I cannot let my father, Count Dracula, get away with this." That seems very connect-the-dots-ish.

I know the manual states Sonia met Alucard while he was searching for his father, but it doesn't specify he told her anything.
