Capcom really knew how to use Sega's Hardware, Megaman 8 for the saturn had a better chiptune soundtrack with a much better Tenguman theme, on to of that there were slightly more Bolts to collect Cutman and Woodman were great additions to be a more definitive 10th anniversary title. All the fighters on the Saturn outleagues the PSX, MvC didn't load between fights, usually they all had smoother animations and SFA3 was a perfect port from the arcade, not to mention the Saturn Controller was ideal for fighters.
It really parallels to Konami since SotN could have been amazing on the saturn, but I think it's the lack of understanding the hardware is what really held it back
