I'm willing to give it a chance...it seems like it's so bizarre it could work.
But the cynic in me is thinking that this is Konami just spit-balling ideas to keep one of their flagship series out of limbo, and with a dying gaming trend at that. (Wait...are zombies still popular? I'm assuming that zombies hit their saturation point a long time ago, but...I don't know.)
Well, this year, we got (and upcoming):
-Metal Gear: Survive
-Resident Evil 7 (probably zombies?)
-Dead Rising 4
-Dead Rising Remastered Collection
-Dead Island 2 (supposedly this year?)
-Days Gone
-The Walking Dead: Season Three
-State of Decay 2
...soooo I'd say that zombies are still going strong, I guess. How much was there in 2015?
The game looks pretty good though. Konami confirmed it won't be full-price at release, so I'm guessing somewhere in the $30-40 USD range. Hopefully more toward the 30 and not the 40.
