Only when you die in midair.
This. IGN has a video of her dying completely differently, down to her scream, and she most certainly falls to the ground on that one.

I saw that video too, semianonymous my friend. However, that video was released quite a while ago. My sixth sense tells me that was just a 'placeholder' death animation and the one we saw in the most recent videos and pics is the death animation they're going to go with. Mayhap I be wrong, though...I certainly hope so.

I don't know why, but I really dig the underwater music.
It sounds really chilly, along with the music in the mountains. It kind of reminds me of AoS(for some reason) and SFIII: TS.

If anything, it would be the other way around, why go through all the work of creating a place holder like that when you could just make a place holder of her floating in the air?

Anyways, I just watched the IGA interview, by beating hardmode/connecting to Judgment, you raise the level cap.
yeah, you raise it. Normally its 99. now?
255.
yeah. Awesome.

Hopefully it makes the game much harder, or else it would be pointless and it would be a wasted unlockable with Judgment.

Her falling down animation was pre-made, though. They just re-used it from the very beginning of the game, where she's knocked out and Albus-chan steals the Dominus glyph. Her scream wasn't original either--we heard it when she was getting sucked on by that floating thingie in the very first trailer.

On the other hand, to make the exploding blood animation, they'd have to do a bit of work, and also her scream was different.

Hmm...on the other hand, thou art right, in all the cases we've seen her explode into blood, she was either in mid-air or in the process of jumping. So who knows, perhaps my sixth sense is misleading me...especially since i'm not a ninja n_n

Anyways, yeah, I said :o when I heard aboot a level cap of 255. I mean really, that's gonna be a LOT of grindan...

I actually prefer the mountain area music to the underwater music... but they both sound good. Not incredible though.

I'm pumped for October.

I don't get it.  Doesn't raising a level cap make it easier?  Meaning that you can reach a higher level in the game?  So is it a reward or a handicap?

Forgive my ignorance, but that level cap means that you will be able to level up up to 255Lv? For what reason? I'll like this one if the same happens with the enemies and bosses or else it would not have fun!!*going to check the news at IGN*

After seing these new videos all i can say this game is looking awesome!! :o I have to feel so excited from when Aria came out for GBA!!

Now what i heard from the interview, IGA says that if you are able to finish the hard mode you are rewarded with the ability to level up until 255Lv instead of 99Lv. Also he said that the new hard mode is easier from the previous, but it is still challenging.

And last the music is going to be awesome!!

Btw, did you see the cave video? There was some platforming stuff with falling stalaktites, which you have to use as platforms. Maybe there will be more stuff like that.

Also, guis, did you see the last video, number 4? Take a look at Shanoa's status screen...apparently, the player got a 96.40% completion rate within 5 hours, 23 minutes, and 28 seconds.
