Sad Face....Iga should try to get his 3d's back up because they have so much potential and he is falling back to 2d. I like 2d but I prefer 3d any day. The only problem Iga had in the 3d games was textures, havoc, and castle layout.

You forget the gameplay, always bassed on attack, attack, attack, attack, attack,  attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, attack, and, sometimes, jumping

Hmm. I wouldn't mind him making a decent exploration-type 3D game. I was right that they wouldn't make the exploration-type for the Wii. They still made Judgement though. >.<

Perhaps the 3D games are going to be released on PS3 or XBox360.

I'm terribly excited about OoE.

I don't think so.

Look at the Past, from GBA to the Present Iga always tries the machine capacities with a game (Harmony is the technical top of GBA, Lament s a try to make an adaptation of CastleVania Gameplay to 3D and Dawn is a first Step into the DS, triying to make use of the Touch Screen)

Judgement seems to be a way to try the Wii remote, how to use it in a good way, if you see the control scheme you will find that is the perfect control scheme for a common 3D CastleVania, the game also touches the online capacity and the Ds to Wii connectivity.

Next year we will be seeing a "normal" CastleVania for the Wii, i'm sure about it, is Iga's Modus Operandi, there's nothing to discuss about that.

What if the Wii controls for Judgement are terrible and ruin the game and it turns out a total disaster? Then, there's always the chance that Iga could abandon the Wii controls, moving on to another console. It really could go either way, though I think your prediction is more likely.

You know that will never happen ;D

In a low cost game like Soul Calibur Legends or Dragon Blade that could be possible, but in a game called CastleVania with Iga behind it your hypothesis is almost impossible

...and it seems everyone has once again forgotten that IGA said he'd seriously pursue a title for the Xbox 360. They also once again forget that IGA is not in charge of programming. Even more remarkable, they seem to forget that a little title called 'Dracula X Chronicles' never experimented with any gimmicks.

I wouldn't get too optimistic about this. I know the chances are slim, but you never know. Wii games HAVE been having a lot of trouble using the wiimote thus far, and Konami hasn't been doing very well with recent Castlevania titles. :-\

Plus, I own a Wii and have terrible luck, so I wouldn't be surprised! ;D

LOI had more platforming than COD, but COD had a much larger world, better gameplay additions, better battle system and boss fights.  since Trevor was a bonus unlockable, his whip moveset wasn't as deep as Leon's,
as its shown that they focused more on Hector.

when making a 3-D game, IGA shouldn't forget to make sure
the level design is varied like the 2-D ones,  with
lots of platforming, puzzles, traps, secrets, etc. etc.

but overall, CoD was a great improvement over LOI.

Euh... no, Third parties have been having a lot of trouble about working a little bit to use correctly the Wiimote

Take a look to Nintendo an decent third party games, most of them have a pretty good use of the control.

In terms of gameplay, even if at level design or anything else, the lastest Castlevanias have been like the previous ones: Marvelous, and that's why i, even being a Iga hater (yes, i am), trust in Judgement, 'cause the Iga team is behind it.

Of course i know tha IGA is not the programmer, as i know that Miyamoto hasn't programmed Galaxy or Kojima hasn't programmed Metal Gear Solid 4, but there's a fact, and is that those three productors are always supervising the game and don't let their teams give to the games a bad gameplay.

Judgement is going to have a great control, by now the control scheme is very well chosed and seems to be really comfortable, if they focus a bit in the Wiimote they will obtain a good reponse, and i'm sure that they will get it.

Just trust me, there's no need to be worried, is CastleVania, is the Iga team.

In terms of Gameplay, the fedora guy and his employees are the fucking gods.

Well, with a few exceptions, I haven't liked how they used the Wii controls very much. There were a few good ones like Rayman Raving Rabbids, Wario Ware, and Dragon Quest Swords (too bad the actual game sucked) but I'm wondering how they're gonna do this...

NO ONE BUY DRAGON QUEST SWORDS! IT'S TERRIBLE!
Just a warning.

Yeah, only Nintendo itself seems to know how to get mileage out of the mote properly.

Seriously, Dragon Quest Swords took me about 4 hours to complete. It had good gameplay, but it was so short, I was ready to kill myself.

Other than a proper use of 2,5D.

It was awful. The gameplay was fun and the graphics were good, but don't get it.
