nobody knows??? and what new games will come out to add to official story line of Castlevania this is so far that I found

Not all Castlevania games are offical parts of the story, for example,
remember that Vampire Killer [MSX], Castlevania [NES], Haunted Castle [ARCADE],
Super Castlevania IV [SNES], Castlevania [PC], Akumajou Dracula [SHARP X68000],
Castlevania [C64], Castlevania [AMIGA] and Castlevania Chronicles [PS] all
share the 'same' storyline, they all fall into the same 1691 date, even if the
 games are different.
The official 1691 storyline used by Konami is from the Castlevania [NES] game.

Same goes with Castlevania Dracula X [SNES] and Akumajo Dracula X [PCE],
they both share the same 1792 date, even if the games are different.
The official 1792 storyline used by Konami is from the Akumajo Dracula X [PCE]
 game.

Portrait fits between Bloodlines and Aria, and Order of Shadows is not cannon.

If you need an official timeline, take what you have, but cross out legends, resurrection (it was never made so it doesn't count) and all the games from the 1800s, then add por to 1944. The games that I mentioned are a part of sidestory branch and don't count towards the official timeline's events. Then you'll more less get the official timeline.

Order of shadows didn't have a specified date as far as I remember, only is said to be late 1600s, so probably around 1660-1680, thus taking over resurrection's times.

I heard that too, but it's not officially in the timeline, right? It just seemed to me like a ridiculous thing for Konami to do.

The MAME game is Haunted Castle. It's the same story as Castlevania
What a horrible night to have a curse!

I think you're wrong on the placement of the 64 games. They're supposed to occur just before World War I.

I just copied the dates from the other guy's post, sorted them and fixed the error in loi and cv2. The rest of the games have correct dates.

So no, the 64 games were in 1844 and 1852. Check the dungeon, chapel or any other source with a timeline. There's over 50 years gap, and Renon's mentioning of the "big war" might have been some other war or yet another storyline inconsistency.

Well technically if cv64 would be set in 1914 the war Renon mentions, as well as Dracula's "back after 100 years" would work just fine, if we ignore Stoker's. But all sources state it was happening in 1852.

It's almost as if the N64 Castlevanias were originally meant to take place around the time of World War I, but the creators changed their minds, pushed the events back 60 or so years, and neglected to clean up the anachronisms left in the game, like Renon's dialogue, the motorcyclist skeletons, etc.
