There are emulators that run these games as good or better then their original systems.

Fceu tends to be the best NES emulator
and I have to say Zsnes is the best SNES emulator.

http://www.planetemu.net is the best place to find roms.

it's a french site, but it has everything.

If you ever decide to go looking for an old console, then pawn shops, flea markets and garage sales are pretty good places to find them for a good price.
