Is there any way I can get mandragora roots other than farming mandragoras? Since it's a **** drop, also it takes long to get them.

What's the easiest way to get to Jiang Shi?

BTW someone mentioned Aeon. Is the same Aeon from Judgement? If so what role does he have in OOE? Or is this Aeon a totally different character?

It's not the same one as from Judgment. He's just a fat chef with Barney's voice that gives you fetch quests while rewarding you just like every other villager.

Just beat it. Phew. Nice final battle.

When he's about to materialize from a teleport, jump over him--the timing is a little tricky to avoid his cape attack, but not too hard. Then attack from behind as much as you can.
When he gets pissed and starts doing his other move-set, do light+dark union attacks with the dominus agony back glyph activated - 3-5 attacks will set you up for the final attack.

After a short speech switch to all dominus glyphs, quickly press R, then up+attack.

Someone else asked about good ending vs. bad ending. Simply rescue all villagers before fighting Albus to avoid the bad ending.

But doesn't Dominus - Agony eat away at your health very fast?

yeah. it eats 66 hp per second while giving you large stat bonuses (in my case 160 to attack, 33 to def and 66 to everything else). there's a good way to minimize it though. enable it, use glyph union and immediately disable.


also, was anyone able to find any use for the back cerberus glyph (one that makes a wolf head hover over you) other than to open the gate? it just doesn't seem to do anything.

edit: nevermind. i just noticed that it adds some attack bonus the more you're hurt. on below 20 hp with a lance equipped i had like +160 attack.

for a fun time, i equipped two death rings, melio falcis, nitesco, arma custos and full minerva armor, then lowered hp to 1. after activating arma custos it made me deal 2000+ per glyph union hit to drac and killed him within 6 seconds before he had a chance to finish his first move.

new game+ only though, since there's only 1 death ring in the game.
