A fan project I am working on, here is a small piece of it as I have got most of it together now.
As I’m not a huge fan of IGA’s timeline, I wanted to make like a remixed one using ideas from all of CV/AD, so this is just sort of like a preview. This is going to be set in the 31st century, like a AD/CV set in the future.

The legend of the Demon Castle

In 1999 There was a terrible war known as the Demon Castle war.
It was led by the son of a Nazi, who rose from Germany and spread the dark hand of the Devil known as Dracula, the prince of the night. This Evil Group were known as the Carpathian Sons. As things looked their worst, a warrior of God shone his light on their dark reign:
The Belmondo clan warrior, Julius Belmondo. He wields the holy Whip of his ancestors.
Along with the son of the Count, and a descendant of the Vernades clan, together they vanquished the wicked night. They then met Dracula, who had reached a new form of power, but after a long fight, Dracula was defeated and sealed in the moon by Charlotte Aulin, who had also come to the castle to use her power. She used quantum magic to strip him of his powers and seal them away. And with Dracula gone for good, unable to be revived, the world could know true peace.
But sadly that peace was not to last, as one day Julius sensed that Dracula had somehow come back. He told both the Brotherhood of Light and the Holy Order of Knights. But no one believed him; they started to think that he wanted to be known as a hero once more, as with no more Evil to fight, the Belmondos were now no longer needed.
Julius knew that the only way to prove he was right was to find Dracula's relics, as that is proof that his power was still in this realm.
So he set of to find them.
After some time, he found an old stone tablet, in the ruins of Dracula’s castle. He was unable to read it, so he travelled round to find anyone who could. After some days, he found someone who knew of a women who could read the text. A powerful magic user.
Eager to know what it said, he set forth to see this Mage. Later he found her in the Forest of Silence, and showed her the tablet.
It took some time but she translated it. It read of a prophecy:
It spoke of the next solar eclipse that was set to happen sometime in the 31st century, and two warriors who would go up against the darkest evil ever to touch the earth. After hearing that, Julius was unsure what to make of it -- he knew that the others were not going to take a women who hangs around in a forest seriously. So he was forced to go and seek the rest of the relics.
But one day he was being tracked by some unknown force, he could feel its evil. So he played along and waited for it to make a mistake, and as soon as it did, he attacked and despatched it. But others came trying to bring Julius to his end.
One day after killing a group of them he saw one was still alive, he then let it live and the beast went back to whoever sent it, as Julius knew it would. He traced these monsters back to a new cult that had formed calling themselves "The Eyes of the Moon." After killing them all and finding out how he was being tracked, it turned out that it was the Vampire Killer that was leading them to him.

He knew that they would try to kill the Belmondos at all cost, and his family would never be safe -- as long as he had the Vampire Killer and their name, they would never be safe.

So he went back home and told his family of his plan, that of this day the Belmondo clan was dead.
They would take a new name and leave the country.
Sadly, he could not go with them, as he worried that somehow the Evil would trace him back to them, so they parted ways. He took the whip with him, as he knew its power would lead the Evil to whoever had it.
He wandered the globe, killing evil and waiting for the warriors who would be the saviours.
After many years, the warriors of legend rose to take on the Night.

The cast
Guy Belmondo
Age: 25
Weapon: Vampire Killer the Sorcery Whip
He grew up in the UK. After seeing his mother being killed by Monsters lead by the cult, he swore that he would rid the wold of all evil, and to show his dedication to his vow, he had the Belmondo Crest of arms branded into his back. Guy at the time was training himself in the ways of a Hunter. He killed his first Dark Load at the age of 14; after that he was taken in by the order and put to real training.
On his 25th Birthday, he was given the Vampire killer whip from an unknown sender, with a note saying "Time to use your Birth Right, this is the Greatest Weapon any hunter can have".
So Guy set out to try out the new weapon.

Anastasia
Age: Unknown (but she was born sometime in the 15th century)
Weapon: Alucard Spear.
The daughter of Carmilla bartley daughter of Dracula and a female Musician by the name of Katherine who was famous for composing the much loved musical piece called bloody tears.
She is a Pure Soul Vampire and her magic power is unmatched; she can also use a very powerful magic called Quantum Magic, which she can use as easy as just breathing -- a skill others would kill for.

Key items
Vampire Killer the Sorcery Whip
Made by world renowned artisan Rinaldo Gandolfi; he made it for himself to take down Evil. It was intend to be a sword, but he was unskilled in the way of the sword, so he made it into a whip, as in his youth he used to work on a farm, and used a whip on the cattle, which led to him developing real skill with it. He found Holy Relics to make the whip able to crush evil: The Chain of the Creator, and the fragments of the Staff of the Creator; he then set about adding those to the whip. He put the link of chain in the fall hitch to secure it. He then strengthened the handle knot with the metal shards of the Staff. After a test, it still lacked that thing that would be evil's bane.
So he took it back to his work shop. He was sitting there when it came to him -- he gave the body the shape of a cross. He made it out of iron.
Later, he used the heart of a legendry angel, and the power of a Pure Soul Vampire.

The Alucard spear
A Powerful Weapon that Alucard made with some help by a master weapons smith, he wanted to make something that would complement The whip. its Power reacts to the Whip and that make the whip rise in power when ever its around. thus making the user the perfect team mate.

Key events
Why the belmondos can’t touch the whip till 1999, and how they got it back:
After Richter Beat Dracula, before he died, like with Simon, Dracula put a curse on Richter, but this was more powerful and spiteful than the last curse. This is what made it also possible for Richter to be put under Shaft’s control. After being Shaft's control, Richter felt very odd, so he asked the Brotherhood's best Mage to see what was wrong, and indeed there was something wrong -- his astral alignment had shifted. The very meaning of the curse was to break the connection with the Vampire Killer, the bane of the night. Luckily, due to his power, the curse was not powerful enough to stop him from using the whip. But his sons and daughters would no longer be able to touch it.
He heard that there was a powerful Mage in Britain, who was known for healing. So of he set off, with his wife. They settled in Britain, but the Mage was unable to cure him.
Many years afterwards, when Julius, was being Trained by Michael Lang, the husband of Charlotte Aulin. After sometime, when Michael thought that he was ready, he told Charlotte to go ahead with her plan to use a skill called Quantum Magic, the same magic used by the vampire artist. She would use that magic to rid the Belmondos of the cruse.
She had not mastered it 100%, but it was better than nothing. It worked, but there was one more thing to do to gain full control over the whip -- the user had to fight the last Belmondo user, that being Richter. If Julius couldn't beat him, then he had no chance to live up to his fate. After beating the whip’s memory, the whip was now back in the hands of the Belmondos, the true masters of the whip.

Thank you for taking the time to read this -- I have no idea what I'm doing with this, but I love telling stories, and I love CV/AD!
And this is something I really want to do. I still need more stuff before I do a full story, and more on the cast and the world itself, but just to get an idea think Vampire Hunter D, and Lord of shadows 2; it has a lot of old ruins and some small towns but there are huge cities, and it's not post-war like Vampire Hunter D.
And seeing as its set in the 31st centaury, it will be futuristic, like cars that can hover and really small laptops; but the aesthetic of all this is like the 1980s never left. And most people still have no idea that vampires and other thing exist, but some however are aware of it. Those who live in small towns or near mountains, or those who live outside the city of Jove, say Dark Ones do live, but they are viewed as mad.
