I was just playing through CV1 on the NES, and when I was in the catacombs, I saw the strangest thing. I was on the second non-moving platform that you come to, and I got a rosary. But as the screen flashed, I could clearly see in the black part of the background the words "THE END" for a quick second until the screen stopped flashing from the rosary. Anyone else see this, ever? I dunno, my NES is a little coo-coo, so it could have been anything.

Are you feeling alright, man? Between this and the Harmony of Dissonance post I'm beginning to think you're losing it.

I really think that's possible! I must be suffering from some sort of Castlevania addiction disease. Maybe these are part of some withdrawal symtoms, cause I haven't been playuing much CV lately, to satify my addiction.  :o :P :-X :-\ :'( >:( :D ;) 8) ::) :(

One time I played a soccer video game and my players started turning into birds and flying off the screen...

Nowadays you are either a graphics whore or a fanboy. BR is Shank not CV. It is ridiculous to think that it is better than CV. If it was CV then it would be what RE4 is to Resi, a series killer. Dumb it down and make it look pretty. Enough idiots will buy it.

I thought it was pretty weird when I first saw Slogra and Gaibon appear in Symphony of the Night's entrance : /

were you taking any "special" substances at the time?  ;) cuz I know a guy who ran out of class one day when we were in school cuz he took too much acid and said the letters were running off the board coming to get him.

Heheh Im sure I didn't.

It was an N64 game I spilt grapejuice on. I don't know how it did it but my guys were running down the field and one by one they turned into birdlike creatures and flew off the field and then the game froze.

Too much acid?...that guy must have been crazy to go to school while on that stuff.

Well, the words "the end" do appear at the very end of the credits IIRC.  Perhaps there was just some glitch that swapped those in there for a second.
