...What games should I pick up.  It should be a given by my presence in this forum that I'm really into old-school gaming, but am also quite fond of the current-gen.
So, besides Daxter, CV:DXC, and FF: Tactics (I'm getting all 3 [Daxter comes with the PsP]), what other titles should I look into.

Im thinking of:
FFT
FF1&2
The Warriors
Dracula X
and a couple of other random rpgs.

Nowadays you are either a graphics whore or a fanboy. BR is Shank not CV. It is ridiculous to think that it is better than CV. If it was CV then it would be what RE4 is to Resi, a series killer. Dumb it down and make it look pretty. Enough idiots will buy it.

Ooooh, I don't know about 1 or 2.  I don't want to pay full price for a 20 year old game.

Yeah, I'm also getting a PSP and I'm thinking about the three Final Fantasy games, as well as DXC. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes also looks good.

My PSP games:

-Ultimate Ghouls and Ghosts
-Megaman Powered Up
-Megaman Maverick Hunter X
-Lemmings
-Metal Gear Solid Graphic Novel
-Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
-Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles
-Gradius Collection
-Go Sudoku

All of which I wholeheartedly enjoy. Possibly more than my DS games. I also have Parodius Portable, Twinbee Portable and Salamander Portable on the way.

The Gradius Collection is fantastic, an absolute must if you enjoy the series.  Same with Silent Hill 0rigins, though it's a little closer to "really good" than "fantastic."

Megaman Powered up is good fun, but the only challenging part is the final boss.

Well, I was thinking about the Gradius collection...Silent Hill, I'd get, but I don't know too much about the game series, and from what I here, its a little on the short side...
I think I'll just borrow the Megaman psp titles from my good friend ZeroTact, if he's tight with that..

Salamander Portable, Twinbee Portable, Parodius Portable are must gets if you like Gradius Collection, either import or get them off Ebay (some folks reported seeing copies of Salamander and Parodius Portables at some place called Fry's).
