On the other hand, the AoS soundtrack is still using the old fuzzy-ass recording, bleh.
Anyway, I'm curious as to why some of them are rebranded as Original Soundtrack Selection instead. I'm guessing it's because some tracks had to be cut due to rights and all?
EDIT: We're missing Invitation of a Crazed Moon across all soundtracks, of all things. Is there a problem with getting the rights from Yuzo Koshiro?
1) It's all recycled from previous releases with basically nothing in the way of new content, so, yeah.
2) That would be my guess as well
3) Given my (admittedly less than legally comprehensive) knowledge of how copyright works, he probably doesn't have
any rights that can conflict with Konami's on this -- if he'd composed it previously and it had shown up as a licensed third-party track, I could see it. But, they specifically hired him to help compose the PoR soundtrack, and as far as we know, this song came as a result of that. They paid him for a product, and he delivered it -- seems to me like that would mean they unequivocally own it lock, stock, and barrel. I'd venture an intern just didn't click that check mark when uploading or something.
