The user seems to be concerned about licensing issues with Konami, so crowdfunding may not be possible.
Someone on Reddit asked if he can release the materials for people to make their own kit.

I LOVE that suitcase and I would buy and take this to my gaming parties.

That's impressive! Although I feel Chronicals Simon doesn't fit with the 8-bit look. I wonder if the author has thought about making the game board more 3D like fireball Island. Now that would be kick@$$ X2

The more I look over this the more I want to play it. I love board games and I believe this could have incredible replay value. The amount of detail put into each character is impressive. He could've just made it very generic for each player but it seems everyone has something unique about them. Also since the monsters are different every time that means the games also different too. I'd buy this up in a heartbeat.
