Topic: Queries on the upcoming May Sprite contest

So far, the remnants from previous non-winning themes are:
- Design a candelabra
- Make a Castlevania character look like it's from another videogame.
- Design a "goofy" enemy or character, like Yorick, the Killer Clown, the suicidal skeletons from CotM, or Pumpkin
- Design a succubus

Is there anything else I've missed?

Since the April sprite contest has only one participant... Should we extend that contest until the end of May?

Yeah. so by default the winner would be Jop. hahaha.

We need to decide next month's theme.
Either choose one of the above or suggest a new one.
Or should I just make a poll on the existing choices?

Maybe make a poll that includes the option to extend this contest?  Or maybe Jop can decide? I'm sure it's awesome to win, but it may also stink to be the only entrant.  I don't know demonology, but still I was hoping to try and enter something.  Between work, family, and starting classes, I just didn't have or make time.  I don't feel strongly either way, I'm just tossing out ideas. I won't be at all upset if I just missed the opportunity this month. There's (hopefully!) always the next contest.

I was thinking in make your HUD for a Castlevania, I never done a hud but this can give me the will to do one.

Yeah, I know. For all the people that said it was a cool idea, I must admit I'm a bit disappointed. I'd have entered myself if my work schedule wasn't the absolute nightmare it's been lately.

I was drowned in work, to make things more interesting I will try and submit something tomorrow.

Also for a theme: design a weapon (main or sub), I also think the HUD idea is cool

Also, gonna toss the same expansion concept from my query on the music contests onto the table. Just 'cause.

We should have a "scene" contest. Make a forest or a jungle scene, using the SNES internal resolution (for no reason).
