why they take so long making Castlevania games?

yeah I mean well DXC is an exception cause the remake had to be planned and made from scratch.

but the normal 2-D ones are easy to cut and paste and modify so how come we still gotta wait like 6 months or more for the next Castlevania games?  man the DS game probbly won't come till next summer, and the console ones won't come till maybe 2 years.

aaaah it isn't like there is a huge different between these games anyways. maybe they need a larger team to work faster or something.

Please be joking. They are not taking nearly long enough. Copy and paste game design should not be accepted, let alone encouraged.

6 months of waiting isn't bad considering how it takes a year for a new version of a sports game to be made.

If anything they need to spend MORE time on each game.

So true! IGA is so eager to take out a game each year, that it looks like he cares a lot more about quantity rather than quality. And what's with Konami releasing a game for any possible platform and age-group? That's really unprofessional and shows that the CV team cares more about money than about their fans.

I agree if the DS games are just gonna cookie cut it every year they should put one out every 5 months or so.

Urgh.  I sincerely hope that you folks demanding 2-3 games a year are joking.  If anything, IGA and his team need to slow down and concentrate on bringing some variety back into the series.

There was a reason that Portrait of Ruin only had four real levels, folks.

You find repetitive graphics and poorly designed levels fun? And you want more of them?

Joke topic.

Honestly, instead of IGA pushing out any more games, I think it's time he passed the torch to somebody else. The games he makes aren't bad, well maybe story line wise they are, they're just not as good as they should be. He had two attempts to make AAA 3D Castlevanias and he just couldn't do it. His "need to prove himself" is only hurting the fans. Come on now, this is Castlevania! People should be creaming their pants every time a new game is released.

Come on, guys, I know what he means. Like myself, he probably doesn't want to wait a whole year JUST to get a new CV game. But you guys do have a point. IGA has been rushing CV games lately so it would be wise of him to take some time to make some new enemies/areas/etc.. But we really do need a new game WITHOUT tons of glitches and annoyances.

Yeah... the only reason I got excited about Rondo was because the original Rondo wasn't under his control, and Symphony is my favorite CV game. All of IGA's other games I'm not too fond of. Hell, I sold CoD, DoS and PoR.

Seriously?! CoD, DoS, and PoR are like me FAVORITE castlevanias. Of course, I still haven't played Rondo and Symphony.
