Have you ever thought of making them on a different, cheaper material as well?
I have the same issue Shiroi Koumuri has, and I can't trust 100% on my country at all. In fact I had a couple of online buys "getting lost forever" in customs in the past, so I'm kinda reluctant to risk buying valuable stuff.

You can't get cheaper (and yet still Precious) than Silver, plus it lends itself well to the look.
My workplace is phasing out non-precious metal work so I can no longer do stuff in Brass or Bronze, but honestly, Silver is the way to go with this.

And yeah, custom pieces always end up expensive.

I hope someone orders them in Gold, someday.
