I'll probably pick it up for Christmas and never touch it becuase I'll be too busy with CoD4, Mass Effect, Super Mario Galaxy, Assasin's Creed, etc...
Man, 2007 was a great year for gaming, even if there wasn't a new CastleVania title to play.

I was going to get it today but I might wait because I keep hearing that if you beat the last one 5, 10, and 15 times it unlocks some new characters for the extra mode. I beat it twice already so if I change the difficulty to easy and turn off all the animations it shouldn't take too long. If I don't get a character after 5 I can confirm it as a lie. Either way i'll be glad to finally know the truth.

These are the unlockable characters I've read about:

Ashnard: beat the game 15 times (only playable on bonus maps)

Bryce: beat the game 10 times (only playable on bonus maps)

Greil: beat the game 20 times on very difficult mode whithout losing anyone

Oliver: beat the game 3 times (only playable in bonus maps)

Petrine: beat the game 7 times (only playable on bonus maps)

I can get Greil but I don't have the time to do that.

I heard about oliver too. Im going to beat it and see if I get him.

I wish there was a video to confirm this. People lie a lot online.

Yeah, you can never be sure on the internet.  What I typed could be untrue.  Honestly, 20 times on very difficult seems a bit much just to unlock one person.

Im glad I didn't get it yet.

If you got it you can send in your disk to nintendo and they will fix the save glitch. (There was no easy mode in the japanese version of Path of Radiance so if you use that save data your game will screech and freeze.)

I'll just wait to get mine, around christmas when they will all be fixed.
