That walk Carmilla does just reminds me of a girl who just tried on heels for the first time and is struggling to stay upright as she tries to strut.

Also, did her boobs get bigger since the last game? Or maybe that's just a killer corset? (Kate Beckinsale to play the part in my brainmovie)

That said, I knew they weren't going to pass up an opportunity for having Carmilla come back. Death aside, she's way more integral to the classic series than Cornell, so of the three Lords of Shadow, she was the logical choice to bring back.

Wonder if ol' Gabe is going to catch hell for killing Laura.

Be kind of interesting if the game implemented a morality system, or more like a "path" system, where Carmilla's good side gives you advice that leads you to redemption and Zobek's led you to becoming the ULTIMATE LORD OF SHADOW.

Okay. Interesting was the wrong word. But come on. All the cool kids are doing it now. *dons awesome sunglasses*

I don't know. My head is just teeming with ideas.

But February 2014? I'll have cash in hand.

How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

He still seems reluctant to refer to himself as Dracula. Even though Cox and crew call him Dracula, it would just make more sense to call him Dracul. Alucard would've been a more fitting Dracula(being the "son of the Dragon").

Anybody think this could be LoS2's equivalent of the Puppet Master?:

The shot is from the same room as all the past shots of The Toymaker.
This is without a doubt The Toymaker's battle form, which I'm supposing is just him controlling a huge machine while he sits inside of it...

Maedhros you seem really fired up about these QTE's. I'm getting this image in my head of you being really terrible at them and getting stuck in a game for hours on a QTE spot in some trivial part of a cinema...  :P

The only way I can rationalize your pure hatred for them is that they must be the bane of your video game existence. Hahaha. Do they really trip you up that much?

I think I've missed like 3 QTE's in my whole life. I could take or leave them, but they just don't bother me. I can understand someone thinking they enhance a cinema as much as I can understand someone considering them a minor annoyance. But it's hard for me to understand how anyone could feel so strongly about them one way or another.  :-\
Not really. There's no really hard QTE. I just don't like them.

BTW: The trailer was really great. Robert makes a freaking amazing Dracula. He sounds better as Dracula than as Belmont even.

Cox already confirmed a long time ago that Dracula will fight Zobek...

And Cox is one of those guys whose every statement should have an asterisk at its end with fine print afterwards.

If he's not rocking a giant scythe and pissing you off with little scythes, it's not really a Death fight.

I used to hate QTEs a lot more. They're not really a make-or-break for me, but they're just kind of an annoyance that strikes me as lazy more than anything. I'd rather be actually controlling the character or watching a cutscene. It's not testing any skills outside of whether I remember the buttons on my controller. That's not to say they can't be enjoyable, but in those cases they're really just contextual button prompts and not life-or-death situations.

The main bothersome point is that Cox's professed hatred of QTEs in an earlier interview makes their inclusion in the LoS games seem disingenuous. The option to turn them off if a huge bonus, though in Cox's place I'd still question why they need to be there in the first place.

Interesting art. I still don't like his bare chest. Especially in that pic, he looks like someone who'd be on the cover of some housewife aimed hot and steamy romance novel(not unlike Fabio).

Vampires HAVE typically been the subject of romance novels and films.

Someone managed to rip a clear version of the music you hear during the fight with the Golden Paladin.

Castlevania:Lords of ShadowⅡ OST Battle with Golden Paladin

It's the same one you hear when you fight the Daemon Lord but it sounds better orchestrated, it even has a bit of electronica in it.
