Pretty much yeah I'd say. At a certain point things deemed "adult" pass from the alluring and risque to the mundane. It helps that we can't really talk about those more risque things though XD. But for a serious answer to a joke question: Purely from a demographics perspective it's likely we're mostly past the early-20s stage of adulthood. Let's say someone jumped onboard with the series with Order of Ecclesia, which I think we could say was more or less the last new game likely to develop an interest in the older series lore and games for someone playing it. If they were 16 when they got the game they'd be 24 now, or 28 if they got the game when they were 20. And I think it likely that most hardcore fans of the series got onboard with earlier games than that.It's not that Castlevania gameplay hasn't stood the test of time, the best (and arguably even the mediocre) entries in the series have timeless gameplay. Easily as timeless as something like Mario. It's just that it hasn't been marketed properly in so long.
