Ok i know the marble gallery by Michiru Yamane is an amazing tune(one of many) in sotn. But does anyone know what kind of synth effect she uses at 0:30 seconds. there is also a smush hop on pop cover of sinking old sanctuary that uses this similar synth effect. I think too jayster from our SCV3 demon seed uses it in his song. If i can find them i will.

I'm trying to expand my synth horizon to have more of a range. If anyone has this synth sound or something like it i would mind if they threw it up on the board or could tell me where to find it. I use pro tools and reason. .wav or .rst maybe of use. I defintly wanna find out more synth sounds.

I got a pretty cool idea.
The Silence of Daylight is a pretty cool song, but... a little on the random repetitive side...
I want to break the song into 4 parts, and make individual songs composed of those 4 key sections.

Could you do that exact same thing but with a SoundBlaster-16 Soundfont, I'm genuinely curious how SB handles Castlevania.

Ok I looked up Soundblaster-16 soundfonts and downloaded one. I don't know if it's the SF or not, but it has a kinda crappy FM sound. I have Yammaha FM and Genesis soundfonts that can do the whole FM sound much better imo.
