DXC that good?

I remember hearing alot of hype about it, and I was wondering how it fared.

Personally, I haven't played any Castlevanias for some time. I still haven't played DoS or PoR.

Is DXC a revisit of the game where you played as Richter? Or was that Rondo of Blood? Or were they the same? I'm confused.

Yeah, it's a remake of Rondo Of Blood that looks, sounds, and plays simply amazingly! The UMD also contains the original Rondo and Symphony Of The NIght.

It's totally worth the price. Truly a bargain if there ever was one.

Yeah it's worth it just to play the original version of Rondo, cuz just getting a copy here in the states for the PC-Engine/Turbografx-16 release costs well over 30 bones. :)

Yeah, listen to everyone here. It is that good!! I was lucky enough to get the pre order 8-Bit Simon Belmont figure with it, which kicks ass.

It's amazing. Probably some of the best money I spent on a game in a long time.
What a horrible night to have a curse!

Yes, DXC really is THAT good.  At $30, it's one of the best deals for the PSP, period.  The game is on the easy side for a Castlevania game, but it's still reasonably challenging without being ridiculously frustrating.

Symphony? Not really, I hear it just has some new features, like a playable Maria, and new VA's.

The DXC version of SotN also includes some previously Japan-only content, such as the extra Fairy and Demon familiars.  Because of this, the placement of some of the familiars cards has been altered.

It's Rondo. It's legit. It's for a system that doesn't run up $500 dollars. Yeah, I'd say it's that good.
