Playing Wolfenstein for PS3 (the one that came out before The New Order). Fairly decent, although the depiction of BJ Blazkowicz in this one is a bit jarring after playing the most recent two titles.

Played this game but never did finish it. I felt it was just too long and I lost interest in it. I was able to finish New Order since it wasn't nearly as long, that and I wanted to see where the story was going if not for seeing BJ knocking up his nurse lover  :-[

I've downloaded and played through Y's Origins several times already. It's a rather interesting game in many ways. The three characters you play all have their own stories that occasionally interconnect. And it is also interesting to see the origins of some of the items and weapons Adol eventually acquires, appear in this game. I particularly liked Yunica Tovah's character. In many ways she reminds me of Adol. It wouldn't surprise me if she were a previous incarnation of Adol's future character. Though her hair is not nearly as red as his, she has those same clear black eyes and determination to see the mission through.

Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 - Great emulation this time around, and the checkpoint system allows you to fix a mistake or even beat wily stages at your own pace.
------------

Sonic Mania - VERY SOON.
Ys SEVEN - At the end of the month, Soon.
Ys VIII - Soon-ish.

The only reason I'd get Legacy 2 is for 8, which is possibly my favourite mm game of all time, side by side with 2. Unfortunately I already have 9 & 10 and I don't really care much for 7.

playing Crystalis on the GBC.
i've never gotten all the way through it, but i've heard the GBC version is more "complete" somehow?

I gave the GBC version a try when it was lent to me by my bro's friend. I only played snippets of the original NES title so I cannot draw a comparison as to which is more complete in terms of story, etc. Overall it was a good game on its own.

I've never heard anything about completeness but if I recall correctly the GBC and NES games have -completely- different storylines. Not a translation thing they just rewrote the storyline for the GBC. Maybe the original "God Slayer: Sonata of the Far Away Sky" (as it was called in Japan) name and story were too controversial or cliche by the time the GBC port was made, I don't know.

Also woo 100 pages \o/

If this is the case then I've gotta sit down and play through the NES title in its entirety, just to see the differences.

I'm about 6 or so hours into Mad Max right now...not too bad, but I checked all of the yet-to-be-uncovered portions of the map, and holy shit, this is like Far Cry 4 all over again. I'll keep on collecting everything, but I have a feeling this will be a long one.

I'm still trying to get used to the timing of the counters during fights. Compared to the Batman Arkham games, it seems like there's less of a window for countering. Sometimes I can take out a big group of enemies without a scratch, and other times I get absolutely pummeled. But the fights are still fun overall, and I'm liking the vehicular combat more than I expected. It's pretty satisfying taking down a whole convoy and scavenging for scrap afterwards.
It's like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but instead it's Who Wants Fried Chicken? I do.

How much did Ubisoft pay Square Enix for this demo? LOL
It is fun and I've yet to finish it.

Dark Souls 3 & Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin.

Personally Dark Souls 2 is my fav of the Dark Souls Trilogy and the updated Scgolar of the First Sin solidifies it for me.

When you compare DS1 with DS2 both feel unique, like the story has moved on to another time from it's previous old time self, from Lodran to Drangleic, from Gwyn to Vendrick, from Manus to his Daugthers of the Abyss, from Artorias to Raime, from Kaathe to Aldia, in DS2 you could feel that time has since then moved in DS2, to me Dark Souls 2 is the only sequel to Dark Souls.
Given the choice - whether to rule a corrupt and failing empire or to challenge the Fates for another throw, a better throw, against one's destiny - what was a king to do? But does one ever truly have a choice?  One can only match, move by move, the machinations of Fate, and thus defy the tyrannous stars.

Started playing Blood...damn, that game is hard. I had to go back down to the default difficulty after I kept getting my ass handed to me on the difficulty level above it...I couldn't make it past the first stage. It's fun once you get the hang of it, though. Once I started using the dynamite it got a lot more manageable.

Edit: I just got through the carnival level, and I am in love with this game. The areas are just so fun...sometimes shooters like this either have levels that are a chore, or boring, and this game is the exact opposite of that.
