I sat down and watched The Day of sigma anime short for the MMX legacy collection. While it was okay the whole scene with an ailing Dr. Cain made absolutely no sense whatsoever. We first see Dr. Cain in X2 and once more in X3 and he is not suffering from deteriorating health nor was he plugged up to a life support machine. But he was otherwise in the day of sigma which talks place before the first MMX game. I don't know what the hell Capcom was thinking by doing that.

I started Super Dragon Ball Heroes but stopped watching before Vegito, lately I've moved house (for the final time) and had some life altering events occur, albeit most of them good ones. I read the last chapter of Berserk (357) and that's got my interest until DBZ Broly and Eva 4.0, which is now apparently in 2020.

Did one season of Hozuki's Coolheadedness, got bored, found out there's a 3 part OVA, and two more seasons.


Fuck that, onto something else. It's not bad, but a bit drab.

Last "new" anime I watched was Aggretsuko. I'm just not into anime like I used to be. I get bored of the silence in my "man cave" (I use quotes because I have a shelf full of Hello!Kitty plushes and stuff behind me), so I'll occasionally put some of the VHS tapes I copied off back in high school and college into the VCR while I work on my computer. I recently watched Slayers, Withering Continent, and the Ninja Gaiden movie. Well, I let them play in the background more than anything; I wasn't paying too much attention to them, except Slayers because that was one of the first 4 anime I ever rented and I fell in love with it instantly. Probably going to pop in Vampire Princess Miyu tonight. That was another of the first 4. That also included Urotsukidouji (another of my faves, probably for the same reason). I can't remember what the fourth one I rented was... I'm sure if I looked through my tapes, I might recall it, but I doubt it. That was 23 years ago...

I would have ALL Ty Hello!Kitties, but I restrained myself. Some I just felt weren't even worth it. Most of the ones here were sold at a grocery store near me. They don't carry them anymore, but every holiday season I look for them (to no avail).

The Kitty backpack (by the tv) and rug (down in front), coin bank, and ornament were gifts from my old roommates. The chia pet, cards, mugs, pez dispensers, and totoro were gifts from my fiance.

I agree with the TY stuff. Some are just not worth it. I could not imagine why on earth did they put unicorn horns on all other creatures aside from horses (unicorns). I'm always visiting toy stores for new TY toys that would catch my eye.

Off-camera (well behind it) is Magic Knight Rayearth scroll, Evangelion scroll, and my manga shelf. In my closet is a go board and some Magic cards. On my desk are books by Heinlein (I haven't read most of them, I went on a shopping spree after reading a couple of his books lol), Tolkien, Doug Adams, Lovecraft, and Crichton, along with some of my old college books that I kept around, and my anime DVDs (small collection). And a picture of Winona Ryder that my fiance bought me.... It was sweet, but very weird.

Currently I'm watching ("watching") Saber Marionette J again. Watched the end of Photon last night and I'm sad that I didn't enjoy it as much as I used to.

Castlevania Season 2 is awesome without doubt.

Happy Sugar Life ruined my motivation of caring about new anime series. Then I was dealing with the X Challenge crap in Mega Man X Legacy Collection and such. The Day of Sigma OVA in HD clarity is a nice touch BTW.

What I don't get is why they didn't just include the whole Maverick Hunter X, this looks like they half assed the job of presenting a commercial product like this. This is unforgiving in any time.
