1. Music Composition by Michiru Yamane
2. Characters from previous CV Games like Soma Cruz
3. Not live-action, it must be CG Movie
4. Not only-dracula, there must be mythological creatures like Medusa, Succubus, Siren.
5. Good-Chosen Music Arrangements from CV Games.

1. Add the Vampire Killer
2. Christopher and Simon ARENT brothers! They don't even live in the same time period!
3. Use actual levels from games in the movie. I would use the Castlevania 64 castle. Not exactly the same, but similar themes.
4. Use actual game music. I at least expect Bloody Tears, Vampire Killer, and Wicked Child to be in it.
5. Use Castlevanian monsters! Make decent bats, zombies, skeletons, lizard men, medusa heads, etc. That includes major bosses like Medusa, Death, a Minotaur, Frankenstein, and a ton of others I'm forgetting.

To make this simple, just make it like the games, and it'll be fine! ;D

A CG movie would probably look really bad and probably wouldn't make a whole lot of sales in the box office. Instead how about really good actors and a really big budget

Why not just animate it?

2. simon and christopher are not brothers they dont even live in the same time period!

3. I expect tributes to the music, have "beginning","vampire Killer" and "bloody tears" even if they are updated remixes for the film

4. ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

5. Profit!

Have you guys still not seen that the Simon script is the old script?  It's a Trevor movie people, and it is very true to the games, it even mentions things from other games.  Nameles LoI with a tapestry of Leon battling Mathias, and them actually calling Dracula Mathias.

It has a $100,000,000 budget, now let's hope for some good actors.

Oh, and both scripts have a younger Belmont named Christopher. but so what?  Who say he has to be THAT Christopher Belmont.  There could be more than one Belmont named Christopher within a hundred years of each other.

That's true, Christopher might not necessarily be the same Christopher Belmont we know. Still, if it is, that'd be weird. :o

1. Either Trevor or Simon belmont has to be the main Character
2. Do not deviate far away from the Games storyline
3. No cheap knock offs
4. Lots of blood and Gore
5. Better have great music.

Out of all of the Castlevania characters you felt the need to mention Soma Cruz? >:(

Yeah but both scripts also having Simon/Trevor and Christopher getting killed off. What justice is that?

There is nothing in the Trevor script having them killed off.  Chris is bitten, but he could be helped... it happened in PoR.  And even if he did die, Trevor still lives.  So the clan will continue.

Jesus, these people just won't listen! He's already said countless times how this script is VOID. The whip-less nonsense isn't going to happen.

I want:
-This Trevor Script to be the real deal.
-Michiru Yamane to work with Yuzo Kiroshiro, Koji Kondo, composer from Pirates of the Caribbean,Masami Ueda(Devil May Cry), Yoshihisa Hirano and Hideki Taniuchi(Death Not), and finally, the genius' of Konami Kuheika Club who arranged the pieces for the Dracula Battle Perfect Selection Albums, all to do the music.
-Some Classic CV tunes

Oh, really?! That's great news! I stopped paying attention after reading the second paragraph, so I never read the rest :P

make it animated.  Perhaps anime.  Include characters like Alucard

I think an animated movie would suit Castlevania much better.

1. script and story doesn't matter

2. main character must be played by Christian Bale or Shia LaBeouf. I don't think those guys are so great, but the name of this topic is...

3. Dracula must be played by Willem Dafoe--he just rules!

4. Gobs and gobs of budget: real actors with ILM-ish special effects, and super-detailed monsters that are so huge they take up the whole screen.

5. Halloween release date

What? Script and story doesn't matter? Why would you say that?

As for the Halloween release date, that would be cool.

Agreed.  The three most important aspects of a great movie are:
1) Great script
2) Actors that fit their characters well
3) Spectacular special effects

I agree, though I'm having trouble imagining any good actors for the characters. I just don't like the idea of an actor playing a role like Simon Belmont. It's just that, when I think Simon, I think 8-Bit, which could get annoying. :P

Okay it does matter a little bit, but the reason I put that as #1 is that if there were a CV movie it would be an action/horror movie right? And great scripts are not what makes action movies successful. Try to look at it this way: If they made a God of War movie, would anyone care what Kratos is saying? no.

Story is somewhat irrelevant, because it goes without saying, that the hero will be fighting Dracula at the end of the movie and it doesn't really matter what happens leading up to that, as long as there's lots of whip slashing and sub-weapons flying around.

Well, the problem is that there's a chance that they will add in characters like Alucard, though I'm not sure if they are or not considering I don't care enough to pay that much attention at this point. If they DO add Alucard, they will have to focus some effort onto the storyline. I hope that they just make the script EXACTLY like the games though.

Gary Oldman should be Dracula again. I think it would be cool to have the movie not try to serious, because it will turn out like Van Helsing or something. Instead, I want a grindhouse gory, exploitation flick with whips, temptation of a Belmont by a topless succubus, and old metal music mixed with classic cv tracks. Black Sabbath and Yngwie would be good. And it must be R rated, for goodness sake.

I think it would be more fun than the crushing disappointment I am sure we are in for.

1. Don't include Angelina Jolie in it.
2. Don't market/hype it like other new movies.
3. Have Succubus stand naked in the background :P
4. Have no romance/soppy/love shit in it.
5. Don't make it anything like Dusk till Dawn  ;D

How would marketing/hyping it affect how good the movie is?  They need to market/hype it if they want it to make any money.
