Have you guys still not seen that the Simon script is the old script?  It's a Trevor movie people, and it is very true to the games, it even mentions things from other games.  Nameles LoI with a tapestry of Leon battling Mathias, and them actually calling Dracula Mathias.

It has a $100,000,000 budget, now let's hope for some good actors.

Oh, and both scripts have a younger Belmont named Christopher. but so what?  Who say he has to be THAT Christopher Belmont.  There could be more than one Belmont named Christopher within a hundred years of each other.

Jesus, these people just won't listen! He's already said countless times how this script is VOID. The whip-less nonsense isn't going to happen.

I want:
-This Trevor Script to be the real deal.
-Michiru Yamane to work with Yuzo Kiroshiro, Koji Kondo, composer from Pirates of the Caribbean,Masami Ueda(Devil May Cry), Yoshihisa Hirano and Hideki Taniuchi(Death Not), and finally, the genius' of Konami Kuheika Club who arranged the pieces for the Dracula Battle Perfect Selection Albums, all to do the music.
-Some Classic CV tunes

"I am the morning sun come to vanquish this horrible night!"

Oh, really?! That's great news! I stopped paying attention after reading the second paragraph, so I never read the rest :P

make it animated.  Perhaps anime.  Include characters like Alucard

I think an animated movie would suit Castlevania much better.

1. script and story doesn't matter

2. main character must be played by Christian Bale or Shia LaBeouf. I don't think those guys are so great, but the name of this topic is...

3. Dracula must be played by Willem Dafoe--he just rules!

4. Gobs and gobs of budget: real actors with ILM-ish special effects, and super-detailed monsters that are so huge they take up the whole screen.

5. Halloween release date

What? Script and story doesn't matter? Why would you say that?

As for the Halloween release date, that would be cool.

Agreed.  The three most important aspects of a great movie are:
1) Great script
2) Actors that fit their characters well
3) Spectacular special effects

I agree, though I'm having trouble imagining any good actors for the characters. I just don't like the idea of an actor playing a role like Simon Belmont. It's just that, when I think Simon, I think 8-Bit, which could get annoying. :P

Okay it does matter a little bit, but the reason I put that as #1 is that if there were a CV movie it would be an action/horror movie right? And great scripts are not what makes action movies successful. Try to look at it this way: If they made a God of War movie, would anyone care what Kratos is saying? no.

Story is somewhat irrelevant, because it goes without saying, that the hero will be fighting Dracula at the end of the movie and it doesn't really matter what happens leading up to that, as long as there's lots of whip slashing and sub-weapons flying around.

Well, the problem is that there's a chance that they will add in characters like Alucard, though I'm not sure if they are or not considering I don't care enough to pay that much attention at this point. If they DO add Alucard, they will have to focus some effort onto the storyline. I hope that they just make the script EXACTLY like the games though.
