I had a C64 and plenty of pirated games for it (as well as an actual copy of that badass game Jumpman -- not Mario, btw). Lots of games on it that I loved. I actually enjoyed Karate Champ, I will admit. But some of these games I never once saw during my childhood!
First video just fucking blew my mind. The graphics were definitely jaw-dropping for their time and the music is just fucking out of this world.

I only ever played this on ROM. Dug the music.

As a fan of Usagi Yojimbo for several years I've wanted to try that, didn't know there was a longplay out.
And huh, just looked on youtube and apparently there is a new (iphone/android/desktop) game based on the franchise slated for this month-
USAGI YOJIMBO: Way of the Ronin (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YOE3gfEK0g#ws)
RYAAAAAAAAH! ...maybe sometime, based on the reviews and price.

Wow. The music on that Neverending Story II game is pretty badass. I wasn't really aware of the C64 until 10-15 years ago, and I still don't know much about it, so I really can't judge it in terms of processing power. But that music...did I mention it's badass?
