The childhood I never played...

I had a C64 and plenty of pirated games for it (as well as an actual copy of that badass game Jumpman -- not Mario, btw). Lots of games on it that I loved. I actually enjoyed Karate Champ, I will admit. But some of these games I never once saw during my childhood!

First video just fucking blew my mind. The graphics were definitely jaw-dropping for their time and the music is just fucking out of this world.
C64 Longplay - Neverending Story 2

I only ever played this on ROM. Dug the music.
Samurai Warrior Usagi Yojimbo C64 longplay Part 1/2

FUCK THE MUSIC! Miss this era so bad!
C64 Longplay - Cybernoid 2

WHERE THE FUCK WAS THIS IN MY CHILDHOOD COLLECTION?!?! AND OMG STAGE 2 THEME IS EPIC!
C64 Longplay - Bionic Commando

Fuck me, this is epic music!
C64 Longplay - Midnight Resistance (Part 1/2)

What... The... .... Fish?
C64 Longplay - Weird Dreams

Repetitive but cool enough I wanna play it!
C64 Longplay - Movie Monster Game
Your mom has had more floppies put in her than a Commodore 64!

As a fan of Usagi Yojimbo for several years I've wanted to try that, didn't know there was a longplay out.
And huh, just looked on youtube and apparently there is a new (iphone/android/desktop) game based on the franchise slated for this month-
USAGI YOJIMBO: Way of the Ronin
RYAAAAAAAAH! ...maybe sometime, based on the reviews and price.

Wow.  The music on that Neverending Story II game is pretty badass.  I wasn't really aware of the C64 until 10-15 years ago, and I still don't know much about it, so I really can't judge it in terms of processing power.  But that music...did I mention it's badass?
